By far the nicest and most special nostalgic Italian car that you have reviewed on the channel. These are very special cars, and it is great to see and hear one once again. It looked stunning and the engine, just wow!! The sound was just glorious!! Pump the accelerator 3 times to prime the carbs, turn the key, and you could hear each cylinder filling and firing until it erupted with the most rip roaring sound. It was alive!!! Set off warming it up was needed but once there the crescendo of valves chains pistons was amazing. Stretch its legs upto the red line and the hairs on your neck were up on their ends like a crescendo in a concert. You could also feel every note and smell the mix of petrol and oil like a fine wine. Saw two of these yesterday at the Italian day at Brands Hatch, a left hand drive one in mid blue with blue velour seats and a right hand drive one in metallic green with black interior, fabulous cars ..
Classic cars are about how they make you feel. This Alfa was lovely and sounded so good. I was smiling just watching.
I know that face!... It's the same one I make when I plant my R53. That engine is pure filth, gives me goose bumps listening to it through a lowly mobile phone speaker. Great video James 👌🏻
Fantastic vid! keep watching (or mostly listening) over and over... Getting my Monty delivered in ~3 weeks!
Hey Jay . I was lucky to have done my apprenticeship at Roger Clark Cars at Narborough ,Leicestershire. Yes that Roger Clark ! He had a Lotus,Alfa ,Jensen,Porsche & Ford Dealership. We only ever had one Montreal in but I so remember being bowled over how great it was to drive !
Have been watching your channel for a while now & your doing a great job !!
By the way this is your best shirt yet ! Best wishes from Perth Western Australia.
You lucky, lucky boy Jay. What a total classic, stunning car and one I have lusted after for years. Typical Alfa, gorgeous sound. This is how the boy racer Audi and BMW's should sound today.
Always loved the look of this car. The 70s orange colour really suits. And that sound. Ohhhhhh. 😉
oh wow that's beautiful ! this has always been my favorite alfa! great video
this is my first time ever knowing this car and i already fell in love
Oh god that is the best looking car I have ever seen.
GTV6 owner here. I've watched a number of driving impressions on the Montreal including Matt Farah's Smoking Tire where he drove one for abut a week. These cars come across as much better than one expects. Most reviewers are quite surprised at just how much they enjoy the Montreal. Nice!
See my comments above and stay with the GTV6! Anyone can make a sexy video and the Montreal is a drama queen. At first in a good way, but....
I have never seen anyone do a better SouthPark Cartman face then when he “gives it the beans” 😂😂
Your face at 3.46 says it all, no words needed !!
Looks good. Sounds incredible. Has enough power to be enjoyable but never actually goes fast enough to hurt you.
Why aren't all cars like this?
I had no idea this magnificent looking car would sound equally spectacular!
