I really hope they can do something to allow us to make more than 20 decks. Now with so much new cards coming and combos, 20 decks isn’t enough at all. 20 was good the first couple months but now we need to able to make at least 30-40
@LuciferLuvs yeah I think some people just have a problem deleting decks. No reason to have any more than 5 or so at a time, because you shouldn't be playing that many on any given day unless you just change decks every game lmfao
@LuciferLuvs I don't want to say there's no reason for more decks because of casual players, but anyone who is seriously trying to rank up, which should be most people playing the game given there's only a ladder mode, are not able to play more than a few decks well. So those people who are switching decks that much are most likely lower rank
@LuciferLuvs i make a lot of decks and use a lot of cards and test them to see what works with what. Plus there’s so many styles of play and now these new cards unlock even more ways to play. High evolutionary in itself can open up a lot create 3- 4 decks on its own. I play different decks of discard, destroy, cerebro, etc. 20 decks just isn’t enough for me realistically. I have a lot of cards but even then a lot of cards can be put into so many decks. I shouldn’t have to delete a deck to create a new one

Amazing video as always Cozy and Alex. But i think you missed something here. Using Scorpion on turn 2 to affect your enemy's hand won't affect Abomination at all. Because Abomination's effect clearly states that it's power will only be reduced if a card is affected by -1 power *after* it's in play. Not before. Scorpion affects cards before they are in play. So Abomination won't have it's power reduced even if those cards are played afterwards.
I'm looking forward to High Evolutionary most of all. It may or may not turn out good (though I think it will be good), but I like cards that enable entirely new decks by themselves; they are great value for tokens, and i've got enough saved for him as soon as he shows up :) I am expecting to have ~12k tokens so I can get him and one other.
It is definitely the most interesting of the cards because it creates an alternate no ability deck to patriot, and all the negative effect stuff boosts stuff like hazmat that isnt so reliant on wong.
Not to mention big bad cards are always going to be the best value of token usage. If I have enough tokens for Iron Lad after getting High Evolutionary I may have to grab him if I see him on rotation.
What I think is so cool about High Evolutionary is that it sets up a precedent for the future of a way to bring new concepts to cards we already have. For example, one thing I always thought was odd is that the Fantastic Four in this game don't have any synergy with each other. But imagine if in the future there was a card (maybe HERBIE the robot?) where if you have it in your deck, it totally changes the effects of your Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing, & Human Torch into a new package where they all synergize well with each other and you can play this FF theme deck as a new archetype ?? It bodes well for the long term future of Marvel Snap, as the game continues introducing more & more cards, eventually we might run low on the big iconic characters but this could be a way to make sure that the old characters never get stale if the game reaches a point where there aren't many prominent Marvel heroes left who haven't become cards.

If shocker doesn't ramp your left most card, then he'll potentially provide you with 1 unspent energy providing synergy to the other unspent energy cards.
Move decks has this problem with stacking too much power in the same lane, sometimes you end up with 60 power in the same lane if you dont pay attention, so maybe, who knows, Living Tribunal could be goos for the high aggro move decks with that 40+ human torch, 13+ vulturure amd 20+ dagger, so sharing the power looks like a fix for me
Iron Lad's potential to copy a 5 and 6 cost cards, but Lad's played on turn 4, or turn 3 with Zabu, can be huge too.There's Leader, Onslaught, Dr Doom, or even Spectrum since Lad already synergizes so well with ongoing. That said, there is a potential for a Lockjaw or Jubilee deck with a bunch of higher cost cards in the deck. So much potential on Iron Lad

Something to note about Ironlad is that he reveals to your opponent what the top card of your deck actually is, so it does sacrifice some information too your opponent if you use him before turn 6
I think the thing people miss with iron lad is that unlike jubilee, you also draw that top card next turn. So any effect that you only need once like mister negative or Galactus, that you copy with him, leaves you with a dead draw. That doesn't make him bad, but definitely should be considered in deck design in comparison with jubilee. .
I'm stoked at the Enchantress buffs, I've always run her in my deck along with Lizard and try to play her to negate his ongoing effects so the nerf is fine by me. Loving the podcasts, though I will say I struggle with deck recommendations just because I'm at a different level to you guys and am facing different opponents, so my matchup doesn't work as planned. That being said my Hit Monkey deck has been working great
I was an Elektra truther even before Nebula got announced. I'll force her in even more decks now. Even if you just hit a Korg you got a 1/3 out of it, as a 1/1 she's underwhelming but the ceiling is huge in a world of Sunspot, Ebony Maw, Nebula and if prio and foretelling lines up even Kitty Pride
@@dificulttocure Mr.Negative deck to make him a 4 cost could be fun. Then basically at any point at turn 5-6 you could destroy it or enchantress it yourself to bait the opponent to spread. He might not be a card like Galactus where dropping it wins you games but more as another win condition to play big number cards like in a Sandman control deck and only using LT when there are locations you can't play on.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 No way LT is good in a sandman deck. Sanman decks are already sacrificing a lot of power turn 4/5 to play sandman, you cannot do the same in turn 5/6 with LT. That's supposed to be your Doom/Odin turn. If you play LT you would end up with something like 7 power in each location, which is a joke. Mr Negative is the best option for him I agree, but he's been out of meta since forever. So yeah, if you are saying that LT's best deck is a tier 3 at best, then you're kinda proving my point.
@ShenEvil That's the thing, he's power is just too low for an effect that might not even be beneficial to you. I don't see how he can compete with decks that drop 20+ power in turn 6, which are almost any deck nowadays.
I recently learned that any card that adds to your deck shuffles the deck meaning that korg and rockslide can be devastating answers to Howard the duck and iron lad, and if they are playing Chavez for consistency they can get Chavez stuck in the top of the deck blocking all iron lad plays.
Interestingly the living tribunal is actually already in the MCU. In the latest Dr Strange film we see him as they’re travelling through the multiverse.
Iron Lad will be a better Nimrod. Nimrod at a 4 cost is significantly more playable than at 5 cost. If Iron Lad can copy that text, he turns into a 4/6 split (possibly 3/6 split).
Imagine iron Lad in your Iron Patriot deck Cozy, you can get early Sera, mystique, iron man, Patriot, blue marvel, Skrull, heck even copying the hood is good, turn into 5 cost 12 power. Or copying bishop and starting at 6 power, he could carry a lane just by himself
The Gamora variant you showed at the beginning is my favorite variant in the game. Because of this variant and this variant alone, I have never played a single ranked match without her in my deck (since you get her) and have 15 splits of the variant. Glad to see you allow it to linger in the public eye for so long Alex: all twelve cards are of critical importance to your deck Me: my Gamora… is very important
I think Living Tribunal has two paths. Locking away locations with Storm and Professor X then winning those locations by dividing your total power. Similar to what Cozy says in the video. The other path could be hiding a huge lane behind Invisible Woman.
The thing I'm curious with Iron Lad is when it says it copies the text of the card: Does that mean it can become an ongoing card if the card says its ongoing? Or if it's a sunspot, it would copy the full text and act the same? Basically a similar effect to Leader or Mystique/Absorbing man but it can be anything, it's just a slight gamble like Morph but more influenceable as it's copying from your deck. Also Shocker I could see plays in bounce Sera decks. Imagine using him and reducing the cost of all of your bounce cards by 1 on top of Beast who could get reduced himself or there to reduce further.
I just realized how well Iron Lad synergizes with America Chavez. Think about it: AC increases reliability of getting cards within first 5 turns, but getting a card by turn 6, she's worse, but having Iron Lad allows you to access the ability of that card that you WOULD draw on turn 6, but gets left on the top of the deck because AC is drawn instead...
I think something pretty interesting could be Nebula and Lizard in two separate lanes. That way in order to be able to mitigate their effects, you would have to fill both lanes (playing once a turn in Nebula's lane). Most decks are not built to be able to fill two lanes like that, so you could really see at least one or both Lizard and Nebula do well.
That part of the video when you said talked about "playing a deck, you lose, switch decks", etc. is the exact problem I have. I just get so discouraged.
two things - Howard duck is like little daredevil for you - you are not sure if you want to snap because you are missing card for a combo? Howard will tell you your next card - The living tribunal will work great in destroy deck with Knull especially negative - the only problem is like you mentioned Enchantress...

Oh I just had a conversation earlier today on the subreddit, but Howard could also be a great bluff card like Kang where you snap turn 5 making your opponent think you have the top deck
Think of Ironlad like this: it's a 4/6 card that acts as both a mystique and an Absorbing man for one random card in your deck, plus he can work on cards without on reveal or ongoing abilities such as Dracula
iron lad actually seems interesting in a negative deck even though it'd be a pretty dead draw after; it's a 6 power that uses the strong effects you run in the deck from all the low power cards, including negative and is a way to "draw" negative earlier a-la jubilee while also clogging less the board; also works with zabu and psylock to be played turn 3 as negative of course
High Evo and hulk alone in a deck is turbo good. Don't even have to intentionally skip mana sometimes you cant play a card np hulk has you covered now. It's like having a sunspot you dont have to play until turn 6 and that is nuts. Worst case scenario you have a 12 point hulk....thats still good!
Iron Lad with ongoing will be gross with ongoing but imagine getting a Doom effect turn 3, a 3-6 sandman turn 3. Rescue starting at 6 and then bump to 11? I'm excited

Even with Hela Discard - if you were careful youd just dunk on Sandman decks all day i took it all the way to 90 very quickly.

The snap and retreat mechanics make Howard good. It’s super valuable to have more information to help you know when to snap or retreat.

I was an Elektra truther even before Nebula got announced. I'll force her in even more decks now. Even if you just hit a Korg you got a 1/3 out of it, as a 1/1 she's underwhelming but the ceiling is huge in a world of Sunspot, Ebony Maw, Nebula and if prio and foretelling lines up even Kitty Pride

@@dificulttocure Mr.Negative deck to make him a 4 cost could be fun. Then basically at any point at turn 5-6 you could destroy it or enchantress it yourself to bait the opponent to spread.
He might not be a card like Galactus where dropping it wins you games but more as another win condition to play big number cards like in a Sandman control deck and only using LT when there are locations you can't play on.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 No way LT is good in a sandman deck. Sanman decks are already sacrificing a lot of power turn 4/5 to play sandman, you cannot do the same in turn 5/6 with LT. That's supposed to be your Doom/Odin turn. If you play LT you would end up with something like 7 power in each location, which is a joke.
Mr Negative is the best option for him I agree, but he's been out of meta since forever. So yeah, if you are saying that LT's best deck is a tier 3 at best, then you're kinda proving my point.
@ShenEvil That's the thing, he's power is just too low for an effect that might not even be beneficial to you. I don't see how he can compete with decks that drop 20+ power in turn 6, which are almost any deck nowadays.
10:49 nebula will summon the return of uatu. Knowing if an upcoming lane will be sanctum or something could be super useful
I recently learned that any card that adds to your deck shuffles the deck meaning that korg and rockslide can be devastating answers to Howard the duck and iron lad, and if they are playing Chavez for consistency they can get Chavez stuck in the top of the deck blocking all iron lad plays.
Interestingly the living tribunal is actually already in the MCU. In the latest Dr Strange film we see him as they’re travelling through the multiverse.

Iron Lad will be a better Nimrod. Nimrod at a 4 cost is significantly more playable than at 5 cost. If Iron Lad can copy that text, he turns into a 4/6 split (possibly 3/6 split).
Hazmat is also good for spreading -1 effects

Imagine iron Lad in your Iron Patriot deck Cozy, you can get early Sera, mystique, iron man, Patriot, blue marvel, Skrull, heck even copying the hood is good, turn into 5 cost 12 power. Or copying bishop and starting at 6 power, he could carry a lane just by himself

You don't have to skip turns to get Hulk to max power, you just need to play below curve and hold on to 1 energy every turn.

The Gamora variant you showed at the beginning is my favorite variant in the game. Because of this variant and this variant alone, I have never played a single ranked match without her in my deck (since you get her) and have 15 splits of the variant. Glad to see you allow it to linger in the public eye for so long

I think Living Tribunal has two paths.
Locking away locations with Storm and Professor X then winning those locations by dividing your total power. Similar to what Cozy says in the video.
The other path could be hiding a huge lane behind Invisible Woman.

The thing I'm curious with Iron Lad is when it says it copies the text of the card: Does that mean it can become an ongoing card if the card says its ongoing? Or if it's a sunspot, it would copy the full text and act the same? Basically a similar effect to Leader or Mystique/Absorbing man but it can be anything, it's just a slight gamble like Morph but more influenceable as it's copying from your deck.
Also Shocker I could see plays in bounce Sera decks. Imagine using him and reducing the cost of all of your bounce cards by 1 on top of Beast who could get reduced himself or there to reduce further.

I just realized how well Iron Lad synergizes with America Chavez. Think about it: AC increases reliability of getting cards within first 5 turns, but getting a card by turn 6, she's worse, but having Iron Lad allows you to access the ability of that card that you WOULD draw on turn 6, but gets left on the top of the deck because AC is drawn instead...

I think something pretty interesting could be Nebula and Lizard in two separate lanes. That way in order to be able to mitigate their effects, you would have to fill both lanes (playing once a turn in Nebula's lane). Most decks are not built to be able to fill two lanes like that, so you could really see at least one or both Lizard and Nebula do well.
That part of the video when you said talked about "playing a deck, you lose, switch decks", etc. is the exact problem I have. I just get so discouraged.
two things - Howard duck is like little daredevil for you - you are not sure if you want to snap because you are missing card for a combo? Howard will tell you your next card - The living tribunal will work great in destroy deck with Knull especially negative - the only problem is like you mentioned Enchantress...

Howard the Duck will be almost a requirement with Iron Lad, preventing it from being used in non-casino decks unless you have both for the most part

Think of Ironlad like this: it's a 4/6 card that acts as both a mystique and an Absorbing man for one random card in your deck, plus he can work on cards without on reveal or ongoing abilities such as Dracula
iron lad actually seems interesting in a negative deck even though it'd be a pretty dead draw after; it's a 6 power that uses the strong effects you run in the deck from all the low power cards, including negative and is a way to "draw" negative earlier a-la jubilee while also clogging less the board; also works with zabu and psylock to be played turn 3 as negative of course

High Evo and hulk alone in a deck is turbo good. Don't even have to intentionally skip mana sometimes you cant play a card np hulk has you covered now. It's like having a sunspot you dont have to play until turn 6 and that is nuts. Worst case scenario you have a 12 point hulk....thats still good!
