Even though they are in the past and we're done at the beginning, I think everyone should go back and watch you guy's early Snapchat videos. You have a lot of new players who would benefit being told of their value and older players if they watch get subtle reminders of decks and deck play from the past that still work today. Besides, I've seen them all probably at least 3 times each and the humor and they interacting between you both still makes me laugh even now. I wish I could help out more but I will always do what I can to support you guys. I like some of the others alot but you two are always looked forward to both together and separately. Sorry for the long comments, I never seem to have a limit to what to say about you two. Lol As always I wish you peace and blessings
One HUGE change that i haven't heard anyone mention is that it only takes 7 cubes to go up a level now. One match with a double snap and you could go up or down more than one level.
I've actually been playing a TON of electro into nimrod into destroyer. That coupled with the venom change has given me so much success. Venom carnage on turn 6 and there's nimrods everywhere. Love it
I have Nimrod pinned for after I get High Evo and save up 3k tokens. I've been wanting to go the Shuri, Nimrod and Destroyer route. Its especially deadly if the opponent doesn't see the combo coming and Shang Chi's the 10 power Nimrod, helping you out even more. But yeah, between him and the Knull I would have had if he dropped like he was supposed to, I am reluctant to play Destroy without the most impactful cards available to me.

Man I LOVE Snap Chat. I laugh, learn and so many other things. There is so much revolving around this podcast. And Alex I want you to know that if it wasn't for you two talking in the Snap Chat I wouldn't be having so much fun :) It goes the same way for me as a listener and I would be a simple meta try harder without having fun. High Evo Shocker in particular I'm excited to use with Beast. I think it will create a bit of a snowball effect with cost reduction that could be really strong. As well with Hulk and Abomination, if you can Moon Girl in the right spot and copy a zero cost Abomination, you could potentially drop 14-16 power Hulk and 2 Abominations turn 6 (34 power). That's only one avenue too, and I'm sure you could eek out even more power with a turn 7 or with other card combinations.
I hit Infinite with Guardians Control (I made a few changes from the list here), but one great thing I found was you have the 6/12 for Magneto and move stuff OR you can drop Gamora + Rocket for 6 energy (and with this deck you have a good idea where people are playing) for 16 power.
I’m curious if he will have an animation letting others know they are playing him. Kinda like Thanos when you get all the stones it does the animation showing the opponent you have played all the stones. Bet he might.
I dunno... maybe since he is in-line with the type of Variety Thanos brings.. But the other 2 Big Bads do not have animations. So either way is possible.
High Evo you could start the game, buy him, and get value. Ik you can't even unlock the token shop until way after but he truly breaths new life to Snap.
For my favorite from each cost, I would say for 1 cost it’s Kitty Pryde, for 2 it’s invisible woman, 3 is shadow king, 4 is either enchantress or Jessica Jones, 5 is Klaw or Doc Ock, and 6 is magneto. I did just pull master mold and I’m having so much fun with him, he could be a contender next month lol. Another great episode ❤
High Evolutionary is far and away the most hype I've been about a single card since the game came out. Poor old Kang has been pinned for like a month but he's gonna have to wait a bit longer 😅
I think the unspent energy deck will be fun. I usually have unspent energy because I get draw screwed. Being able to channel that into potential power in a later turn is great.
Unspent energy (as it relates to HE Hulk) may not necessarily mean you can't play anything. I understood it to mean if there is (turn# - 1) energy left, he powers up. So that means if you play slightly behind curve each turn, he will be massive.
Thats how it souned to me. So Wasp on turn 1 would count as unspent energy. Sunspot on turn 2 as well. Just have to play one turn behind until maybe turn 4 and he'll be bigger than Orka's 16 power.
Thanos with high evo and Wasp/cyclopz and now your stones have bit more weight just from the negative power on their side. Idk it's gonna take a lot of experimenting but I think if people look at these as just individual effects outside of having to have the complete package we are gonna see some absolutely crazy stuff
I find that a Wave/Sandman ramp deck works pretty well against the current meta. Other key pieces: Sunspot, Electro, Aero, Leader, Doom, Odin. Takes a bit of thought on when to play what, but when it drops right you can disrupt almost any common deck you'll see, and if you don't get to Sandman early you can get the same effect by playing Wave on 4 and Odin in Wave's lane on 5. Multiple options to get the one-card restriction.
A basic High Evo deck i plan to try is: Wasp, YJ, Misty, Sunspot, Luke, Shocker, Rogue, Cyclops, High Evo, Thing, abomination, Hulk. That would let you float 1 energy every turn but 6. (Even on 6 if you can hit hulk with shocker) could be fun.
Alex I agree. Playing the unspent energy deck is gonna be tricky. You'll have to play sunspot t2, armor t3, skip t4, she hulk t5, hulk t6. Maybe Cyclops and Wasp turn 4 to knock their guys down in the Sunspot armor lane. She hulk that same lane. Then hulk in another lane. Tricky because if you have priority, which you hopefully shouldn't, Shang chi is a problem.

I want a General Ross card that has the ability of On Reveal: Change this location into "The Raft" It functions similarly to Magik, and you could have cards like Brood, Jubilee or Mr. Sinister to help you race for the free 6 cost card. I think it would be a fun wildcard with some meta potential.
I feel like Alex Coccia and I are on the same wavelength. Daredevil, Prof X, Orka... I don't have Jeff but believe me I'd be using him if I did. I love control style archetype, especially the prison variation. Right now one of my favorite combo's is Goose + Wave. If you play wave because of her new change and there is a Goose on the board, you pretty much lock it down just as tight as Prof X , minus some movement and Jeff exceptions. But people rarely expect that.. They tend to forget about Goose by the time I play Wave and they only realize the cards they were going to put there can no longer be played there.
yeah, I like the common borders on my inked cards, but that means I can never frame break or animate them. It seems fair that I should be able to choose from any of the borders I've previously unlocked.

I wonder if they could do something similar with Mr. Negative, make him like -4 - -8 but all your cards start with the effect with a minimum of 1 or even 2.

@@garylangford6755 they mean you play the stones on turn 5 alongside Wave, since she's only 3 cost so you have 2 extra energy to spend, whereas if you were to play Sandman on 5 he'd use all of your energy for a slightly worse effect* * slightly worse because Sandman still allows the opponent to play two cards if one of them is Jeff, Wave guarantees they can only play one card

Spending 2 energy every turn to get a 1 energy discount on another card while adding no power to the board doesn't seem that strong to me. Not unless you can Moon Girl into a double Hulk or something.
You missed the Wave use staring you in the face: High Evo Hulk. Skip 4, play Wave+SheHulk on 5, or play Wave on 5 to lock down turn 6 while buffing Hulk on turn 5 and 6. Or you can Cyclops on 3, Wave 4, Hulk 5.
Wasp and Valkyrie should still be good, you'll just have to play them in the opposite order into a fully stacked location. It'll make them all 3 but then wasp will lower them so you should win that location that way.
I finally got darkhawk back in the shop after being the final piece to playing your rocks and hawks deck. Do you guys think its still a viable option in the new meta? Or should I keep saving up for high evo
Darkhawk is still incredibly strong. If you want a card only for climbing, Darkhawk has already proven itself. If you don't care about climbing and just want to try a new playstyle (which may or may not be strong, we don't know yet) then High Evo is obviously the choice.
Cozy - You say that "you can't play anything to get that +2" with Hulk. Can you confirm that's how it works. The way it's written, if you have any energy left over at all on a turn, he gets +2. I think this will be a huge synergy with Kitty. Playing her on turns 2 and 3 with another 1 cost card should build her and hulk by +2 each turn.

My experience with Howard so far has been a bit underwhelming. I put him in a Darkhawk deck with Iron Lad, but the problem is, unless Howard starts in your hand, it often feels bad to play him. Like, on turn 2 I want to play Zabu over Howard, and on turn 3 if Zabu is down, I want to play Rockslide or Darkhawk or Iron Lad. Maybe I got unlucky, but I didn't have many games where I got to use the Howard and Iron Lad combo. In a good number of the ones where I did get to use it, I just got Chavez appearing as my next card because my deck got shuffled (either through locations or the opponent putting rocks into the deck). I definitely think he will find a place in the meta, but it doesn't seem to be the obvious one - would probably work better in a deck with more low cost drops I think (or Galactus... shudder).
Need help to know which way to go with the 6k. I have Galactus pinned but also want High Evo. What card is the better pick for a free to play person and has never reached Infinity. Thanks for the help.

Luke doesn’t remove the negatives, it just makes them not lower the stats. You’ll lose them again if Luke is gone. I’m curious if Abom will still “see” them under Luke.
I've been playing around with Wave a bit the last week and I've noticed a shift in the meta - previously big "surprise" cards or combos (like free Death or Hit Monkey card spam) are coming down more on turn 5 to try and play around the potential Wave.
I'm new in this game so can someone help me? Are the card from pool 3/4/5/newest cards will drop from collection level prize or only available on token shop?
My favorite thing is just how many versatile users you can see with just one or fao oc any of these and high evo in a deck can be. And the number of cards they boost just by existing. I hope this card stays 6 K for a long while
I have an issue at the moment, I have saved 6600 tokens, I have Thanos pinned to purchase it, however High Evo is coming and I dont know it to purchase it or go for Thanos instead...
Give it a week, maybe two. Something else will be the next big thing and you'll be fine. Or, include Luke Cage and cosmo in your deck and you'll be fine. You'll actually screw up their whole game plan with a Luke cage and Cosmo to protect it.
Wave on 5 is so good now. I play it in my Thanos deck. It’s like sandman, but I can play 2 more stones on 5 as well. Then on 6 I play Thanos or blue marvel. Also, wave could be good with High evo hulk. Play wave in 5, you get the control from wave, then you play hulk on 6. And that’s also 2 turns of having spare energy becasue hulk costs 4 on turn 6. Oh and wave actually counters Jeff which sandman doesn’t.
I feel like Death does need to be free. Destroy already puts a lot of power on the board upfront. If you can't reliably Knull Death or at least She-Hulk death, you aren't going to get many wins, never mind 8 cube wins. At least, my experience lately has been that almost every deck I face has Shang Chi in it. (I've been messing with Deathwave, trying to make it somewhat work and also Galactus since I just unlocke him)

Maybe, you know if your opponent is playing Thanos or not by checking their deck size so the animation doesn’t do much for that

About Cerebro, I'm a cerebro player, just play luke cage, in any cerebro deck I mean C2 and above, is most of the time useful

What’s the thought on having an option to choose a card frame after hitting Infinity? There are so many cards that work better with lower tier frames.

I believe the wave changes were actually a buff, in a ramp Galactus or sandman deck it counters almost ecery other deck in the meta right now

My Favorite 4-cost card is Spiderman. There's nothing more satisfying than reading a Galactus play and putting Spiderman in that lane.

My experience with Howard so far has been a bit underwhelming. I put him in a Darkhawk deck with Iron Lad, but the problem is, unless Howard starts in your hand, it often feels bad to play him. Like, on turn 2 I want to play Zabu over Howard, and on turn 3 if Zabu is down, I want to play Rockslide or Darkhawk or Iron Lad. Maybe I got unlucky, but I didn't have many games where I got to use the Howard and Iron Lad combo. In a good number of the ones where I did get to use it, I just got Chavez appearing as my next card because my deck got shuffled (either through locations or the opponent putting rocks into the deck). I definitely think he will find a place in the meta, but it doesn't seem to be the obvious one - would probably work better in a deck with more low cost drops I think (or Galactus... shudder).
Can anyone inform me where I could find a schedule of the cards appearing in the weekly spotlight?

What do you think of a JaneJaw Evo deck that focuses on the negative part?
Need help to know which way to go with the 6k. I have Galactus pinned but also want High Evo. What card is the better pick for a free to play person and has never reached Infinity. Thanks for the help.

Luke doesn’t remove the negatives, it just makes them not lower the stats. You’ll lose them again if Luke is gone. I’m curious if Abom will still “see” them under Luke.
I believe abom will not benefit if Cage is active. The wording on the ability says "affected", so Cage in play cards aren't affected by negative.
I believe the developers did mention that Luke cage would affect aboms ability to reduce cost

Wave is literally the new sandman. You can do the exact same thing for less energy and play a 2 cost card
I've been playing around with Wave a bit the last week and I've noticed a shift in the meta - previously big "surprise" cards or combos (like free Death or Hit Monkey card spam) are coming down more on turn 5 to try and play around the potential Wave.
Idk if I'm in a pocket meta but I'm going against all bounce and Sera so wave change is so good for countering them in u don't draw sandman

My favorite thing is just how many versatile users you can see with just one or fao oc any of these and high evo in a deck can be. And the number of cards they boost just by existing. I hope this card stays 6 K for a long while

He's not unplayable, but if you want to hit infinite, it's one of the worst options...
Give it a week, maybe two. Something else will be the next big thing and you'll be fine. Or, include Luke Cage and cosmo in your deck and you'll be fine. You'll actually screw up their whole game plan with a Luke cage and Cosmo to protect it.

As a hardcore Cerebro player, I can only say you gotta have Luke Cage in your Cerebro decks. And Monster Island is an insta-retreat.
Wave on 5 is so good now. I play it in my Thanos deck. It’s like sandman, but I can play 2 more stones on 5 as well. Then on 6 I play Thanos or blue marvel.
Also, wave could be good with High evo hulk. Play wave in 5, you get the control from wave, then you play hulk on 6. And that’s also 2 turns of having spare energy becasue hulk costs 4 on turn 6.
Oh and wave actually counters Jeff which sandman doesn’t.
I feel like Death does need to be free.
Destroy already puts a lot of power on the board upfront. If you can't reliably Knull Death or at least She-Hulk death, you aren't going to get many wins, never mind 8 cube wins. At least, my experience lately has been that almost every deck I face has Shang Chi in it.
(I've been messing with Deathwave, trying to make it somewhat work and also Galactus since I just unlocke him)

I'd say evo, if you think you'll like that game play. Watch Alec play some Thanos decks in his past videos to see if that would float your boat.
