5 Tips to increase the Success rate in IUI
Intra-uterine insemination is a process where semen from husband or male partner is processed and washed outside the body and it is pushed with the help of a tiny catheter inside the womb of wife, at a time when ovulation is most likely to occur in that cycle.
Success rate of this process is generally 10 to 15% per cycle, can maximally be increased up to 20 percent, if all parameters are favourable.
5 tips to increase success rate:
1. Selection of case should be proper
2. To do it in a centre where semen is processed, because transport of semen can be detrimental for the sperms
3. Doctor should have good experience, knowledge and skill
4. Technician who is preparing the semen should have adequate knowledge, skill and experience
5. USG machine should be good to assess the follicular growth and developing endometrium properly and one should know what steps to be followed before and after the process
