I hated playing through this. I despise the action oriented gameplay. Many gamers are asking for MORE remakes of old games. So far I've been watching a walkthrough of RE3 remake and it looks less polished then RE2. Nemesis really isn't that scary compared to his self from original RE2. Things look more clunky.

This game was I development at the same time the last remake was . ( What I mean is that they probably shared assets) Also using the same assets isn't a bad thing as long as they add new ones . ( which they definitely did ) The game takes place before , while and after RE 2 . It makes sense for us to see the same zombies and locations . No offense but you are bashing on the game just because they are using the same assets that they used last year which is a little short sighted . I would like to remind you that many successful games used the same assets as they're predecessor. ( Like Dead Space 2 , Fallout New Vegas and even Transformers Fall of Cybertron )

What we got is a better depiction of the zombie apolcalypse in the city, and it makes sense if areas have lost power and flashlights are needed. The reason why A/B felt lacking in the remake was that it didn't make sense to have it there since a lore was established as opposed to the original when it wasn't established and it felt like the series was trying to be a RPG with its alternative endings and choices. These remakes capture the same horrific aspects the originals had, if not done them better this time around.
My brother and I loved the RE games: RE, RE2, and RE3. You can't say "nobody liked them" because there were some people around where I live that did liked the games and bought and played them. When you say "nobody likes those games" that means no one in the entire world which is wrong. You may have not liked them but to say no one liked them is kinda stupid. I see the point you are making though and I agree with some of it. Resident Evil is Capcom's Cash cow and so they're gonna milk it to death. Capcom doesn't care who's buying the games as long as it's money in their pockets. There's always gonna be a market for it and yes I agree the younger generation should play the old games but Capcom isn't going to stop making these games. There are more people out there that like them then there are people who dislike them and it's all about money. So they're not going to stop making games because a few people don't like them. I actually liked RE seven; however, the only thing that I disliked was the camera angle. I thought it should've been third person.
As for the older games, it's quite hard to improve them when they are so old. I instead rather see them remake it on the next-gen consoles.
