Southwest pilot takes special retirement flight with family crew members

- A Southwest Airlines pilot took a special retirement flight back to his home state of Texas earlier this month. Captain Larry Vaughan left Las Vegas on June 2 with not only passengers on board but his family members too.

I have to say that I do not fly much but last two times with Southwest...have been a joy! Everyone always so nice...flight attendants the best...always making sure we were ok and enjoying oursleves. United - not so much at all.

What was Sully's retirement flight?
FAA should be able to devise an advanced medical screen to give pilots the ability to fly beyond age 65. I cannot figure out why the agency sticks with this retirement rule.
