Got the Dash 2 weeks ago.. best god damn thing i have done since artisan is difficult to get into norway atm and coming form mudpads and pads that break down faster than my undies like GSR, QcK, G640 and recently Odin Gaming Zero gravity (whichs was amazing but became shrek's swamp if it got slightly humid) and so far my Fnatic dash has been so consistent and a pure joy using
What can you say in terms of speed compared to the G640 and QcK? I have those two, G640 feels faster for me, but its worn out so looking for a new one as im using the QcK one now but its even slower than my worn out G640
@@Gabriellho the differance is night and day, the g640 is good but its sponsor pad.. meaning yes all the pros are using it but they are also sponsored by logi so they get new ones all the time, the qck is worn out after 2 weeks and turns into a mudpad. The fnatic is veryfast at the begining but after a littlewhile you get control elements whilst keeping the low friction speed! I have had it for awhile now and its still feels like a new pad

damn that’s crazy i’ve used artisan zero and hien and i got the fnatic dash two weeks ago and i feel like it’s the best mousepad i’ve used i also for the desk size one and i just love how much space i get

Liked the Zero more than the Hien, only problem with the Zero is the amount of hair that gets stuck in the pad and is seemingly impossible to fully get out.

You describe it as a Hien-like surface but it also feels smoother and more pleasant. The performance is similar to the Hien while also allowing better stopping. That sounds actually incredibly good! The only negative things you mentioned are the size and price, while Artisan is even more expensive. Oo And let's face it: Artisan isn't perfect at all. Like Artisan's backing is only good on smooth surfaces. If your desk has some slight texture like some wooden desks, then the Artisan pads fly all over the place like NO OTHER. I literally have to TAPE down my Hien to somehow get some use out of it, because it just has no grip at all, even with applying water and a cleaned desk and whatnot. It's just made for a plain smooth desk and on other things it will just get no hold at all. This is a design flaw and their pads are heavily overpriced if you take into account that only like 2 pads (including the Hien) are durable pads. And let me tell you I have had PLENTY of Artisan pads, even before they had the FX series. I had a non-FX Hien Soft, several Raiden MID, Zero MID, Hayate, Hayate Otsu, and some I might've forgotten. I know what they're all about. I will get this Dash some seirous try. It sounds incredible.

But in all honesty the dash is nowhere near the hien quality lmao it's a slow rag in comparison to the hien. I heard that the artisan pads suck on desks like that which personally I find hilarious, but why not just get a deskmat/tablecloth and put your artisans on top of that lol? Also the static friction on the dash is a yikes! Much higher than the zero, not fun to use, not artisan.

This guy's review sometimes seems pretty political and biased. He obviously says better comments for company's who sends him products and "sponsors" him. The majority of the people who use this mousepad really likes/loves it, and this mousepad is a really good one. However, this guy calls it Fnatic trash complaining that it is small. Also comments that Fnatic is a "shitty company." I guess Fnatic did not treat him well lol. Very biased and political review. Lost some credibility by viewing this one.
True. Was watching a video about hyperx haste and says that the 3335 sensor is trash. Like wtf, noone ever complained about the sensor when properly implemented and was top end sensor 2 years ago. Guess hyperx didn't pay him. Friend was telling me that boardzy was also saying that boardzy tells people artisan mid stick good to desk, but is shit Also besides being biased since ofc it is his personal preference, he hasn't tried any scientific way to test speed, friction etc while other youtubers like BeardedBoB actually do test.
I have the huge desk one. Took about a week to get used to the to the higher speed and lower power stopping power compared to your average cloth pad. It's a good pad though. Tracking is easy, flicks are decent enough to get used to. Works well for my low sensitivity.

I know this is a really odd request, but try buying a sheet of Aluminium-Magnesium-Boride from American Elements. It’s a highly durable material with a lower coefficient of friction than FUCKING PTFE. Just a thought, wanted to see the glide.

this was such a bad review there is no coating on this pad its confirmed, it is faster and smoother than an artisan hien and it has the same x and y values unlike the hien. i had to actually pull my hien out and compare the 2 just to be sure and the dash is infinitely better so im confused with this review considering the hien is your number 1 pad. the base on the hien is awful i had to use double sided tape to hold it on place so the dash wins there as well

@@boardzy i dont have twitter but i can i upload to imgur and post here? but can i just ask why so defensive, you slammed the dash really and i cant understand why its not affected by humidity, its smooth, fast as hell, identical xy, available widely, great stitching, great base, no coating that wears out like what more can you ask for. the hien was my main pad before the dash but i always had problem with it, xy not the same, rough feeling, not that fast, terrible base that doesnt stick to my desk, over 2x the price of the dash. before the hien i mained the glorious 3xl, gsr se, shidenkai mid (in that order) loved the shidenkai apart from the base but ultimately its a piece of shit that wears out fast and is expensive as fuck.

What are you using these days? Thinking about replacing the Dash, it has been one of the best pads I’ve tried to date.
Just bought this pad and love it. Feels more speedy than zero for me
I didnt realize it at the time after testing this and returning it a while back, but this pad is simply better than all the others I have sampled thus far so I reordered it after coming to know what I like in a pad. It may not be on artisans level in terms of quality, but its good enough and in terms of surface property alone I prefer it over the zowie gtfx and AC+. I personally felt the AC+ was overrated and not worth the hype and was pretty disappointed when i found my arm sticking to it now that its getting warmer out. If we are honest its X ray pads only really worthwhile pad. I wanted to try an odin, but i have been checking for availiability for days and its basically sold out everywhere and websites that are stocked wont ship to the U.S. I really wanted to try an Otsu, but I am sort of picky with the sizing of my pad cause I like to rest my arm on the table while gaming and tho artisan pads are fair sized for most I just cant use a pad where I run out of room cause I play vertical games and lower sens and I run out of room and come close to running out of room. This pad is equal x and y, my arm doesnt stick to it ever, it now comes in 19x19 inches, and its incredibly fast with still good control. You really dont need much more speed n e ways than what this pads offers... Those are enough characteristics to make it a top pad for sure and even make it better than an AC+ IMHO.

dont get this pad after 2 months its turned into a mud pad its started to become unplayable the right side is still fine where i do use the pad at all but the entire left and middle of the pad is EXTREMLY slow if ur looking to buy this pad just get a aq+ or a hein

The zero is a great all arounder, the Hati s isn't out yet so I don't want to recommend it, the xm1 is amazing tho

I have the hayate otsu and it's not worth it compared to the hien/zero. It has poor durability but for while the coating lasts its great, I'd recommend the hien over it tho

Artisan website is so fucking shit. Worst I’ve ever seen. I have had a Zero in my cart multiple times, only to have the website fail to load when I try to check out. Tried for hours, then they sold out. Absolutely bonkers how fucking shit their marketing, translations, and technical softwares are. Big yikes. That being said, the Hien is amazing. Just too fast for me
I've heard plenty of stories like this, it sounds horrible and I totally agree that artisans site could use a complete rework. That doesn't change the fact that they make the best mousepads

@@user-ty9pu1qe4u its pretty durable, ive had it for over a year, and the only sign of wear is two threads coming loose on the edges. And the part were my wrist touches the pad is glossy, probably from built up sweat.
The deskmat version is humongous. i did like the dash, but ye compared to the hien, the hien just does everything better.

Glide 38 is so smooth, idk why anyone would want that much smoothness and glide. My mouse literally glides off my desk. It’s nice but very little stopping power, people may prefer control over speed.
