Marincin played in place of Harrington last night and I really think that Corrado should have been thrown in the lineup instead. We've seen enough of Marincin to know what he is and that he doesn't really have a whole lot to offer at this juncture. It could just be the shiny toy effect but I really wanna see Corrado get a shot on the Leafs, although I can understand not messing things up when we're so hot lately.
Maybe it was my comment but I take it back, Bozie and Holland are rockin. And wow, we didn't even need a goal from Lupul this game. I notice the Leafs are skating hard to get back, pinching in the neutral zone, and generally playing good defence. Phaneuf is still shooting into a crowd (or wide) but he's playing good defence so screw it. Go Leafs Go!
Steve, what do you think about the Islanders trying to trade Hamonic? He's their top defenceman, a hard physical player with a good shot who is a huge presence in the community. If he's trying to to to any of the Western Canada franchises (Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary.) Since Garth Snow wants a defenceman equal to Hamonic and no picks or prospects, where does he go and for what?
+Aiden Beck That's the thing though, it's not diving that is drawing the penalties. He is playing well and generating chances, opposition don't like him or his line mates getting chances and so they take penalties trying to stop it. Good try with your attempt to insult his character though.
It wasn't that he was held back it was just nobody knew how he would play without an elite player with him and doubting that he could put up the numbers a team needs from a #1 centre
Phil Kessel has 12 points. Tyler Bozak has 12 points. Kessel has played with Malkin and Crosby this season. Bozak is playing with Parenteau and Matthias. I don't understand.
You said that no other player can draw penalties like Nazem Kadri does. That' not true. Brendan Gallagher can also do it. Not EXACTLY the same way, but they are the same kind of jerks, Kadri just has more skills.
I'd like to argue that Kadri's best skill is injuring Tampa players ;) but on a serious note he's performing although it's not showing on the stat sheet and Ben Bishop is right up there with drawing penalties he's drawn like 8-9 penalties this season at least and drew 3 in one game against the Boston Bruins at the start of the season.
"I'm havin' some fun." Nice to hear you saying this Steve, considering how rough the first dozen Leafs games were on you. I must say, I vastly prefer the whiteboard being used for NazBob KadRoss instead of marking down the Leafs games played like you were keeping track of time in prison. :)
It's actually not hard to argue with a winning formula. They're playing like the Carlyle era leafs again, with a low 40's corsi and a .950 goaltender. Hopefully Babs knows about this cause it's been going on for at least a couple weeks now.
I think part of the reason that they haven't put Corrado in is handedness. As it stands, the only right handed shot on the blue line is Roman Polak, and they're not going to take him out and let Corrado play with Marincin or Harrington, as, say what you will about Polak, but he's a veteran. Dion is playing the right side with Gardiner, and they don't want to mess with Gardiner's head any more by putting him on his off side, and they're probably not going to pair him with Corrado either. Hunwick is proving a good partner to Reilly who, wouldn't you know, is also playing the right side, so they're not going to mess with that either. Really, it comes down to the fact that the right side of the Leafs blue line is pretty much set with players who are firmly entrenched with their roles, and I don't think Leafs management is willing to put Corrado on his off side, so until someone currently playing the right gets hurt, I don't know that we'll see him. Now, that said, a lot of the late-game heroic plays that Reilly has made (him leaping to keep a puck in) have come with him playing on his natural left side (as he's a left-handed shot), so I can't help but think (hope?) that long-term, they find him a solid right handed partner to play with, as he seems way more dynamic on the left hand side.
Is there not a way he can play in the Marlies? He needs to play. Really, an injury is his way on right now. That or a couple brutal games by a Polak or a Marincin.
One other thing about Kadri this year is he is much better on face-offs, all his hard work practicing his draws for the past couple seasons is finally starting to pay off. Once he starts scoring it will probably start a deluge.
Come on man! Kadris is a dirty player, like Marchand on Boston but doesn't have the balls to drop the gloves when someone gets ticked off about it. I expect him to spend some major time on the injured list as the teams start to see him for the Cooke that he is.
Kay lemme lay down some knowledge. If your **FIRST LINE CENTER** only draws penalties while failing: to score goals, get assists, and reliably win face-offs, then there is a problem. Kadri is ideally a third line center on a good team.
They can't afford to send him down to the minors. It's a 1way deal, so if he clears we'd still have to pay him 4.1 to play in the minors. And if he gets claimed, we'd have to pay 1/2 his salary to play for another team. Then you'd have to worry about when you send him down claimed or not who becomes Reims backup and if Reims falters can that goalie take on the starting job? There's a lot of things to consider that's why they are staying put for now. Plus they'd have to call up one of the kids (Bibeau or Sparks) I don't think they want to be put in the position that they might have to play them.
You should get a jersey with Parenteauvechkin on the back. IF he stays.
Marincin played in place of Harrington last night and I really think that Corrado should have been thrown in the lineup instead. We've seen enough of Marincin to know what he is and that he doesn't really have a whole lot to offer at this juncture. "Hey dude what do you what for Christmas?" "A Tyler Bozak jersey!" "What a time to be alive" 😂
awesome game
Beauchemin wore 22 if I recall with the Leafs, not 23
LEAFS STOP WINNING!!! I WANT TO SEE MR. STEVE DANGLE ENRAGED!!!!
Don't worry Frankie, you will get your chance soon. Roman will be gone before January
We can only hope :)
I'm here from 2018. He never got a chance while they only just got rid of Polak.
Kessel who?
maybe bring panik up to the nhl
Parenteau for a 1st round pick? maybe? please?
But I thought everybody is worth a second round pick...
leaf players are probably working hard to get traded tbh
I didnt realize but steve u look super drunk
kadri is just not that good, its sad if his best asset is just to dive the whole time
+Aiden Beck That's the thing though, it's not diving that is drawing the penalties. He is playing well and generating chances, opposition don't like him or his line mates getting chances and so they take penalties trying to stop it. Good try with your attempt to insult his character though.
"playing well" lol its the leafs, there is no playing well.
Aiden Beck You can say things but that does not make them true.
are u denying that leafs suck?
+Aiden Beck so you're saying they haven't been playing well the last 6 games?
The Nazem Kadri Bob Ross segments are arguably your best parody work ever... "What's the key? Sick chirps."
Isn't it?!
Just wait til January, I'll show MLSE they made a mistake.
+John Tortorella lol i love it
+John Tortorella Fucking Torts, stay away from us!
LOL "when he was fishing the puck out of the back of his net"
Tyler Bozak was being held back by Kessel. That's right I said it! #HotTake
It wasn't that he was held back it was just nobody knew how he would play without an elite player with him and doubting that he could put up the numbers a team needs from a #1 centre
THESE ARE WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO AFTER EVERY GAME
Bozak's been playing a lot better since Kessel moved out of his apartment. I think Phil was having one too many shakers over there.
"You saw 23 a lot when he was fishing the pick out of his own net."
Lmao
Hey Berra! Stop being so casual!
Your Kadri penalty segment is so funny good description of how he drew the penalty.
Toronto stop winning you're starting to make me think about your chances at the playoffs
but beauchemin wore #22 on the leafs
Phil Kessel has 12 points. Tyler Bozak has 12 points. Kessel has played with Malkin and Crosby this season. Bozak is playing with Parenteau and Matthias. I don't understand.
+Thomas E Chemistry. Sometimes even if you put the best players together they might not click on the same level and zero results are yielded from it.
As an Avs fan... OMFG
How the hell can we beat the best team in the league in Montreal, 6-1
And then get killed by the Maple Laughs?
Fucking Joke.
" hey francois, you suck" hahaha
Also to answer your question at the end.....scratch roman
More of Nazem Kadri Bob Ross #brilliant
I wish there was a Steve Dangle for the Caps :(
The Toronto Maple Leafs 2016 Goal Horn is up on my channel! Check it out!
Maybe change the ruining my life part at the intro to maybe the leafs that play with structure...?
+Jeremy Hewitt Maybe. Hey I know a guy with your same name!
You said that no other player can draw penalties like Nazem Kadri does. That' not true. Brendan Gallagher can also do it. Not EXACTLY the same way, but they are the same kind of jerks, Kadri just has more skills.
Lost it at "sick chirps."
he was 22 on the leafs

I'm digging the Bob Ross feel. Until Saturday... Rawr.
I have a solution for Corrado...wanna give him back to Vancouver? Please? Pretty Please?
Duchene future leaf?! Is that s legit rumour? He's my favourite player, and I think he could use a change of scenery.
Dangler nice to see you happy for a change!
Do you think there's any truth to Bozak + Gardner + picks for Duchene?
Is there not a way he can play in the Marlies? He needs to play. Really, an injury is his way on right now. That or a couple brutal games by a Polak or a Marincin.

Polak has really not looked good. Maybe time to sit him for a couple games and give Frankie a chance?
FRANKIEEE no but that video made me sad, I also just want to hug it out with the guy. Petition to get him hugs?
Future Leaf Matt Duchene?
*unsubscribes and cries himself to sleep*
Hate to be that guy but Beauchemin wore no. 22 with the Leafs Steve! He wore 23 when he was on the Ducks
Rumours to trade Polak. Hopefully we get it done so we can get Carrado some time
I just watched a Bob Ross video just for the intro, well done sir, well done
how to get corrado in? easy scratch marincin. guys just horrible
Man, I teared up a bit at that Frankie Corrado bit. I hope he gets his chance soon. :(
Bob Ross Nazem Kadri is the funniest thing ever.
You HAVE to keep that Kadri bob ross thing going
Corrado aint that good, an injury replacement guy
Whiteboard should be in every LFR
Frank Corrado gets into the lineup once Polak is traded
Leafs had 4 PP goals in one game. Last time they did that? 4 years ago.
Frank Corrado is a gem. I wish he was still a canuck
sorry Steve, but Duchene will be an Av forever
love the Bob Ross bits, entertaining as always!
Kadri's segments are pure gold! :D
did you see the top 10 worst goals aloud by the leafs?
So the Leafs get to visit the Raleigh Warehouse next?
What video is "whoopsie daisy" from?
Probably one of the dangle pie LFRs from last season
+Owen Estep I don't think it's danglepipe, but danglepipe is a great segment.
+Killua Zoldyck/Roy Mustang /Meliodas Game 47 vs. Carolina titled "GOAL".
Thank you!
Killua Zoldyck/Roy Mustang /Meliodas No problem!
Right now am starting to be a leafs fan because am a pens fan
Guess what bozak did this year Steve
the canes? oh get ready to expletive delete a duck!
Love to see u happy for once Steve. Go Leafs Go!!!
What how do the lose to the leafs by the same score as they beat the habes
Your Bob Ross is on point. Just amazing
Kay lemme lay down some knowledge. If your **FIRST LINE CENTER** only draws penalties while failing: to score goals, get assists, and reliably win face-offs, then there is a problem. Kadri is ideally a third line center on a good team.
+Grosso FTW Love the LFR's btw
HAPPY LITTLE MISTAKES FUCK YES!
Sorry but thick stick in the face
Loved the Bob Ross segment hahaha
Kadri drew the penalty by skating his face directly into Beuch's stick. Most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
McDavid also got hurt because the boards stepped up and hit him
When do you expect to see Bernier in goal again? In the next back-to-back games, whenever Reimer lose a game or in the AHL?
They can't afford to send him down to the minors. It's a 1way deal, so if he clears we'd still have to pay him 4.1 to play in the minors. Scratch polak for Corrado
2:24 SHOTS FIRED M8!!!!!!!!!
hahahahaha the bob ross bit
RELEASE THE CORRAKEN!
I love the bob ross scene
BEST. VIDEO. EVER.
Too early for Christmas. Stop that.
+Wolfhawk40 It's never too early
+Rene Rancourt yes it is.
