Hey everyone! Thanks for watching this in-depth breakdown of Mission Impossible Fallout! Next up in the pipeline will be videos about the new VENOM trailer and AVENGERS INFINITY WAR Blu-Ray footage -- no need to remind us! How does Fallout rank among the rest of the Mission Impossible series for you?
Cool because I see riot in it and it made me feel good
I like you guys! Can you please do a venom video soon if you haven't already?
Can you guys do the whole mission impossible series
Love your ind depth review
Lots of awesome information
Did you notice the absence of product placement? I found it very refreshing.
How about Rebecca Ferguson mouthing the lines as Ving Rhames said then during the bomb defusion scene?
This is literally one of best films of 2018
Daisy Ridley Videos why is it always girls that don't understand how to use the word literally 😂😂😂😂😂
Snapchat Sketch what the hell are you talking about
Snapchat Sketch, I see plenty of guys using that word incorrectly - and since the way Daisy Ridley Videos used it is perfectly valid, perhaps you're one of them! :)
this is literally a comment reply
Daisy Ridley Videos that's great
Tom Cruise has raised the bar for actors and is simply at the moment in a league of his own. Awesome Movie.
The fact that Tom Cruise does his own stunts gives the director the option to use long, close-up shots and that really puts the audience into it. It's a visual experience that CGI or stunt doubles cannot give. Gotta hand it to Tom Cruise to be such a perfectionist.
Honestly it was one of the best Mission Impossible films I’ve ever watched , and I thought Rogue Nation was gonna be one of the best ones , I feel like Tom Cruise should do at least one more film , he’s still fit for his age and everything
bruce lau one? Give me a dozen!
Fyi they r planning two do at least 2 more
2021 and 2022! Just want more info 😫
They're shooting Mission Impossible 7 right now!
Can't remember a film where I've gasped aloud so much.. a literal roller coaster ride of a movie!
Same
Wouldn't a literal roller coaster ride of a movie be Tom Cruise at six flags?
Watched MI: Fallout for the second time yesterday, got to say I was not once bored despite knowing what happens, it’s just that good that I enjoyed it as much as I did the first. I think it’s become one of my most rewatch able films.
I find almost all of the MI films rewatchable. #3 was probably my least fave but still entertaining.
You're definitely right. I watched it twice already and still on the edge of my seat. I'm thinking of rewatching it on IMAX next time
Roz B I saw twice a ready to totally enjoyed it. But the second time I watched it in IMAX I was the first time I seen an IMAX movie definitely worth it especially the helicopter scene.
Excellent movie. Without a doubt the best blockbuster of the Summer in my opinion.
Ben Williams I wish I could see it again.
Way better than any other movie I've seen in awhile. The stunts are insane.
How close were we?
The usual.
We all knew it was going to happen like that but that didn't make it any less exilerating
You gotta hand it to the camera department too! They're just as devoted as Cruise. These folks are just as integral to the choreography. That helicopter battle was soooo exhilarating!
Did this movie remind anyone of The Dark Knight? It started with a robbery, with a mask off-face reveal.
There was an armoured truck heist with a person inside as the target
Then there was a motorbike running around the streets
There were also two bombs, that were linked to one another
He even fights two-face at the end!
Also Ethan is always in black on a mission and he has Robin, Alfred and Batgirl
That's not The Dark Knight. That's The Lego Batman Movie.
Rogue Nation was really too close to Spectre for my liking... so many parallels with those two
The soundtrack itself sounds a lot like TDK soundtrack. Sinister, dangerous and tense. And it's great. Can't wait for part 7.
richardsim7 I said the same thing as I was walking out of the movie!
Hell Yeah I want Tom Cruise doing all his stunts! Even when he's 60 in MI:10. Tom shows zero signs of slowing down.
MI Fallout was solid. But my favorite of them all is Ghost Protocol. It was unique both story wise and visual wise.
I really find it funny Walker had always doubted the effectiveness of the masks throughout the first half of the move just to get done in by the said trick...
And I love it.
YES, he said "do people actually fall for this shit" and he fell for it right in the end. After watching the movie a second time i realised how much foreshadowing it has...
Tom is a great actor i dont like him hurting himself it may reduce his age i want him to live long and keep doing good waork safely
M:I - Fallout is one of the best action movies I’ve ever seen. It’s so far the best of the year. Infinity War is No.2
That ending🤣😂
Callback to the news lady falling out the wine container.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so random
Reminds me of Stewie Griffin falling out of the grape vats
@@DariyusKabraji Thinking the same thing
You know a movie is awesome when New Rockstars has to do a breakdown of it.
Seeing this movie on Saturday. I’ll be back to watch this breakdown later!
Tom Cruise is truly insane.
9:27
The finale also mirrors the end of Mission Impossible 2. Ethan and the main villain have a vehicular chase that ends with the two vehicles ramming into each other. They land on a rocky surface and settle things with a fistfight.
I thought it was a fun way to call back to what many see as the worst of the franchise by showing that Ethan’s skillset from that movie (specifically, rock-climbing) ends up saving the world.
Kyle Maw many people says it’s the worst... well it is... but it’s still good... atleast I think... much better than some Bonds :)
Needs more doves
Knowing the actors/actresses do their own stunts add to that, “holy sh*t they really did that” impact of the movie. More films like this please. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Tom Cruise gets better with age same as his mission impossible franchise
Missed the helicopter alarm "Terrain, Terrain. Pull Up, Pull Up."
Same as airplane in the opening sequence in MI:2.
Erik is the best
No offense sam
My film of the year
More like, MI film of the year
I want to see how they end the tom cruise breaking his foot on that jump in the trailer
He climbs up and limps onwards because Tom Cruise is a legend. They include his limping in the film.
I wouldn't say I news Tom Cruise to do all these crazy stunts on his own but I do appreciate his dedication to making the best action movie he can possibly make.
Your 3d analysis is just the best in youtube for any movie. Love from India!!
One thing that bugs me is that in no possible way the bathroom floor could be this clean in a party that big.
Felipe Meneses Well look at how ppl dress...u think with that big of a luxurious party, there's no one to clean it up every 30 min?
Totoro San Well yeah, but I think in a real scenario people would be in there all the time (like those fancy restrooms in hotels and such) or in short turns. Even so, I bet the bathroom would be that much clean, because people who walked in would have their shoes sole wet from the dance floor (thanks to every person with a drink/beer in a crowded area).
3:58 - 3:59 - the magically appearing pocket Henry Cavill punches into existence should count as an easter egg.
Just watched it last night for a 3rd time and yes, there were clearly 2 shirts. One with a pocket, one without.
Lmaooooo Voss totally killed me at the end. Grape lady fail is classic.
In the plane henry says (scared of a little lightning), thor sayed the same thing to loki in avengers 1
Anthony Douglas Cap was the one who said that to loki before thor arrived
Oh thats right
Your videos are brilliant. Keep it up! :o)
Tom Cruise is a complete nutter about everything else, but damn, is he a good actor.
Nicholas M I actually think him being batshit insane is one of the reasons he's such an entertaining actor lol
Erik! Odyssée lead character is Ulysses not Odyssea! Amazing work by the way. Love your broadcast!
There were so many nods to The Dark Knight, it was astounding. From the fighting styles to Walker getting half his face burned to even that scene were Ethan and the team has to break Soloman out from custody in that cavalcade. They were purposefully diverted to a street under the bridge and they even knocked the SWAT truck into the river.
I love that tom does the stunts, those shots are ten times more exciting because you don't have a break to hide anything. That's action filming done right. Truly one of the best action films
"When Ethan Hunt was telling August Walker how to catch John Lark, he aimed the mask maker gadget at Walker's face, foreshadowing that August Walker & John Lark are one person."
Source: IMDB
Max was a great character, one of the best flirtations in a movie I have ever seen. Looking forward to the White Widow character coming back.
I did miss some of these! Thanks so much! I will bring some of these up and ask Tom when I meet him! This movie was the best so far. 🔥👌😎🔥
The screams! Lol. I had somehow forgotten about that.
“Ethan is forced to climb a cliff with his bare hands”... cut to Cruise climbing wearing gloves.
Summers best film . The halo drop was awesome as the motorcycle chase . Boy, Cruise can run fast too .
The cliff scene really had me... hooked
You forgot the "Thing" Ilsa Faust whispered in Julia's ear!!!! And what the wedding scenes mean!!!
That manifesto scene plus the Alec Baldwin scene both using the masks were amazing and it’s really cool how we have gone from MI:2 gag of face masks to using them in rouge nation and fallouts use of the mask being a strategic device.
Its not about what the audiences wants... Tom cruise is an adrenaline junkie
Seen its twice and going again!! Such an awesome movie. Go Tom!!
That truck scene isn’t there in the actual movie
I love the fact that Tom does all his own stunts. I just fear he'll end up dying that way because the stunts keep getting more and more dangerous. Maybe one more Mission Impossible film and let it rest.
With a great movie,
Comes a great analysis
Yeah I went back to check it out in IMAX! Had to see that halo jump and helicopter sequence in that aspect ratio. Bit bummed motorcycle chase wasn’t in IMAX ratio though.
Just saw it in Sydney today, and apart from the insane closing helicopter sequence, I think I enjoyed ROGUE NATION more, especially
the introduction of Rebbeca Fergusson!
This was my favorite Mission Impossible movie! Props to Tom Cruise for actually piloting the helicopter in this movie! Badass!!
I rank this movie right after the original film and it is tied for 2nd place with Ghost Protocol.
7 times for me. Still love it. Will watch it again later
I really loved how they tied in the first movie with this one.
The call back to Max is brilliant. It's not made to be a big deal, and that's how I like call-backs to be.
Watching the movie after having binged the previous five, I got a bit of a jaw-drop in the cinema when Widow mentioned Max, but I knew most people wouldn't make that connection, so I stayed quiet and told my friend about that later.
1:17 who knew thanos’s snap affected Ethan and Julia!🤣
Glad I'm not the only one to pick up on that.
"Mr. Hunt, I don't feel so good"
What a double-edge question to ask!
No, I don't *need* Tom Cruise to do all his own stunts.
In fact, the I:M series has begun to feel like an excuse for Cruise to *do* insane stunts. And get paid for it😉
On the other hand, with CGI being used more and more to portray villains and "epic final showdowns," it is quite the thing to see the action play out IRL. It makes the threats, the dangers real - it hightens the intensity and raises the stakes.
So no - don't need Cruise to do all the stunts, but do need the "danger" to be "real."
Great video by the way Eric. Wasn't planning on going to see I:M Fallout but now I kind want to😁
3:43
Alec Baldwin joined in Rogue nation not Ghost Protocol
True, but he did pop up "Rogue Nation (2015)" on screen when he said it, so the clip was right on the money.
he firsY apeared in GP
When I heard Walker say "crystal", I was all like, where was that from, where is that from...?? Couldn't remember. And I should have known -- one of my favorite movies!
I never had so much fun and excitement at the theater before
Hahhahahhahahahahaha I lost it at 11:23
Missão: Impossível - Fallout
Cruising through the vids again
Bruuhh
Watched this last week and it's so good
I was surprisingly not annoyed and actually kinda impressed with you on this video
This was by far one of the most absolute bad ass movies I've EVER seen.
I couldn’t stop laughing at 4:07 😂😂😂
Tom has become a James Bond in these films. I wonder if this exist in same Universe as Jason Bourne?!
Mission impossible fallout was epic!! 10/10!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great video
Here in India, every single reference to Kashmir was censored due to cross border tensions...
Oh! And thank you for showing the Kashmir map the right way...
Erik Voss... You the best...the ending killed me. Gem
The scream part was awesome 😂😂😂
This guy's side shoulder game in all his videos are on point. Lol
this is such a great action movie we saw last night and we will go see it again if it stays in the theatre, or we'll rent it from Redbox if not. my hub and I are around the same age as Cruise and I say good for him! I love his stunts and action in movies! it's tough to miss one
TC is incredible
yes i think tom cruise should keep doing his own stunts, hes just so good at it
Just saw it very impressive
Best M.I. movie
I am following each every social accounts u have sir i got only one doubt. Where was jeremy renner in this sequel??
Scheduling conflict
Hey guys can you guys please do a video just talking about planes and how the plane from the avengers is really cool
Thats why film 6 looks way different than 5 as if (as usual in mission series) another director did it, i was very surprised about the style and even another composer did a great score
"Looks like you lost your oxygen"
I think that it is really cool how Tom cruise does his own stunts. Especially so that the filmmakers don’t need a stunt double
I must admit it does help knowing that the hero we are baracking for on screen is doing it in real life makes ethan more relatable as a character
Tom cruise doing his stunts on his own is one of the biggest selling points of the franchise. Its good old action without CGI.
Haha the first thing I thought when the White widow mentioned about Max in the movie was that that was an connection to the first mission impossible movie
From where do you get these movie clips, where the print is this good
I had no idea that Tom did his own stunts until now! now that I know this, everyine should do their own stunts!!
Non-stop beginning to end...one of the better action films in recent memory, IMO. Obviously many things strained (broke) credulity, but talk about entertaining...
I’ll also mention that using a set to get a confession out of someone was how they opened the very first film in the series.
There were two Top Gun references in the helicopter chase but now I can't remember. Obviously the 'jet wash' was similar... then he said something else later, just trying to remember.
I love this movie it is so good. It is one of my favorite
Well, thanks for quoting on the character "Max". I actually never noticed that in the movie first. So will this lead to MI:7 ??
Whatever else we can say about Tom Cruise, he definitely makes it real, _very_ real, which gives the _Mission: Impossible_. franchise a layer of excitement that few, if any, actions films this side of Jackie Chan, can even come close to rivaling.
After seeing the film it also looked like McQuarie was referencing Alien and Alien 2 with the 15 min minimum safe distance timer and the display looks straight out of the movies...to me.
Just saw the film and I loved it!! I jumped over the velvet ropes on the way out. It really inspires you to run, jump and fight all the bad guys...although, there were no bad guys when I left the theater. Damn! I would have too! Tom Cruise is stellar in his role. Scientology or not, he's a fine actor! My favorite role he ever did was in "Interview with a Vampire" but I digress. Thank you for posting this I feel it was like being a first person shooter in the scene where they are looking to take out Lane. It was a roller coaster ride and it was great. Why did I feel when at the end when Cruise is talking to Julia that that whole "I'm sorry" was meant for Katie Holmes...Just saying Thank you so very much for posting all these cool details about the film! P.S if Cruise had been riding an "INDIAN" motorcycle, those damn cops never would have touched him.
Did anyone else notice the number on the side of Walker's helicopter when he escaped in London said G-DEUP? As in Giddy Up. It actually made me laugh in the theater which made me look like a crazy person.
Airports?? little titbit; That meeting scene was shot at RAF Brize Norton, they're standing under the wing of an A330 MRTT refuelling aircraft on the clip you showed. They also used an A400M as well
