Pag malapit na dumating ang mga bisita, tsaka nyo na paghaluin.. Tsaka na ilagay ung chopped ham.. 😉😊

hehe false and true... false coz it's not overcooked... true.. because it did sit in that strainer for over 8min. (because of some unwanted circumstances during recording) that's why it did "look" soggy though it's not overcooked. Thanks for your input! nice observation :-)
yung pasta, high heat tapos pag nagloosen na, maya't maya ang tikim ko kung aldente na.. meaning medyo may tigas pa sya sa kagat pero hindi sobrang tigas na alam mong hilaw... pinapatay ko na ang apoy nun at sinasala tulad sa video.. wag mo paabutin sa point na malambot na yung pasta bago mo patayin yung apoy at salain kase magiging lata yun kase habang nasa salaan pa yun, naluluto pa rin yun dahil mainit pa rin sya... wag mo huhugasan ng tubig para lang wag ma-lata o ma-overcook kase.. mawawala ang lasa ng pasta.. oo may lasa yan.. kapag hinugasan mo, hindi na magiging masarap yan.. so ang teknik dyan ay patayin ang apoy dun sa point na may tigas pa sya sa kagat pero hindi sobrang tigas.. so dun ako nagbabase.. hindi sa oras po ng pagluluto.. kase minsan sa ibang bahay ka magluluto.. iba ang apoy dun.. maaaring mahina ang stove nila so dapat mag-adjust ka na lang sa texture ng pasta wag sa oras... dun naman sa sauce, wag mo tagalan ang pagluto.. once na nailagay mo na, haluin mo lang na ma-coat lahat ng pasta tapos patayin na ang apoy kase mamumuo yan kase may itlog.. napahaba na.. hehe sana paki like and share na lang itong video ko... malaking tulong na po sa akin :-)

I may as well add my thought also to the pot. This advice I truly believe that it's good advice. The sauce is only the egg yolk, pasta water and bacon (pancetta or guanciale) fat. To ensure that the sauce clings to the spaghetti (spaghettoni best). Do not put oil in your pasta water... I know it's a habit, I used to do it also. But after living in Italy for 3 years I was never satisfied when I made Carbonara because my sauce always slides off the pasta. Try it without the oil. Yours does look delicious though! BTW, God be with all of you in the PI... May He save you from Taal

uu nga nuh.. now ko lang din po napansin bakit "nagmukhang" putol putol yan.. hmmnn... pero di ko din po alam kase dun sa actual nung niluluto ko yan, di naman po sya putol putol... cguro sa video lang po.. di lang masyado na-videohan yung strands.. ang mga mas nag-register ay yung mga "may putol" na pasta... gusto ko din po kase yung buo yung strands.

aldente po yan.. kaya lang po, kung mapapansin mo po, nailagay ko yung pasta na "malamig na" because of some unwanted circumstances... kaya nung inilalalgay ko, hugis nya na yung salaan.. wahahaha so medyo mahirap sya haluin.. kaya may mga naputol.. kaya kung babalikan mo po ulet, hindi ko na po pinakita yung paghalo kase po mahirap haluin at may mga napuputol.. pero kung nailagay ko po yan ng bagong hango sa tubig, hindi po magkakaganyan yan.. wahaha
