  • Pagan Anarchist Thomas Sheridan is an Author, Artist, Film Maker, and Satirist who has spent a life from Wall Street to the Jungles of South Asia attempting to discover the emerging-often elusive-mythology of modern humans within the present technology-saturated era. Heavily inspired by the work of Carl Jung, Bruno Bettelheim, and Joseph Campbell, Thomas Sheridan has developed ‘Monomythic’ tool kits-which draw upon all the mythologies of the world. So as to demonstrate that on a personal and collective level; these legends and stories contain within them a subconscious lexicon of wisdom and symbols that can help all of us overcome the personal and greater challenges we encounter in everyday life. By not giving birth and nurturing these timeless archetypes within us all, modern humans are at a loss when it comes to achieving personal and social Individuation. Or a rounding out of one’s purpose in life. Their dharma. Their Monomyth. Inside all of us resides a wizard, a warrior, a bard, and a knight and by tapping into the power of these archetypes one can have a more fulfilling and creative life. Every challenge a quest. Every situation a saga. Every moment is an adventure.

same old paragraph constantly brought up with no evidence Crowley actually did this. Its a commentary - although a shocking one - but that is not the same thing as telling his readers to do it.

When I was a teenager I got into my dad occult books and got that feeling, strong feeling to stop reading them. Creepy things happened to me for a good time to come after that. Things I won’t mention because no one will believe me. When you said that people without knowledge can let things out by harmlessly reading them I decided to just stay away from them even though someone suggested I read Nightside Of Eden

Thomas Sheridan, you are adding pieces to the jigsaw puzzle of life. In the natural world, there are predators and prey. If the human race does not understand that they have predators, (both human and non-human), then the human race is doomed. All the animals that are preyed upon know that they are prey, but each animal preyed upon has its own certain defense and abilities, (A porcupine has quills, a deer has good hearing and long legs to run fast and so on.) It must be the same with humans - to have built-in defenses and abilities. Now is the time (for those who are awake) to discover their defenses and Creator-endowed abilities. You are helping people to understand that Thomas.

I had to burn the book and read the bible to stop the activities "

The power this book has lies in the reader that empowers it. Just as only idiots can get hypnotized. As a skeptic to everything and someone who enjoys reading what madness the human mind can ink onto paper, I thank you for your book suggestion.

That's from the perspective of a atheist I guess. When you read staff about God .. and this stuff are unclean, this affects you ,your holy spirit run away so then you are a victim for sort of entity's. Depending now if they have any interest in you though

@@marinalexandru5714 It's all in the mind. The book this guy is talking about will only effect you if you allow it to. So if you do believe in the bible then don't read this book as you will believe it as well. I can tell by your comment how you already have a bias that the book would effect you and so it shall. I suggest you do not read this book.

I always thought that the book about Abramehlin and his magick was the most dangerous book. It even says at the beginning that the most important thing to know about this ritual is that nobody should ever do this ritual. Crowley performed about half of it at Boleskine house but never finished it. I have always been taught that this is the most dangerous Grimoire in existence. The ritual takes 6 months to complete.

    • @BigHenFor
      @BigHenFor 6 років тому +4

No, its not. Its goal is knowledge of and communication with your Guardian Angel. It is demanding as it takes 6 months of focussed ritual and meditation, so the material, spiritual, and psychological demands are strenuous. Ramsey Dukes is a UA-camr who has completed the ritual and has written about his experiences. He's British, but now lives in South Africa, writing and lecturing on occultism. I'd check out his writings as they have the most information. He comes across as a thoughtful, but grounded type of occultist. His videos are sporadic but have lots of insight into the nature of magickal thinking applied to everyday life.

The Nazis then went to Tibet . . . and . . . struck Gold. They came across Tibetan monks who practised the Left hand Path and were Black Tantra ! Soldiers from the Soviet Union found a group of Tibetan monks dressed in Nazi uniforms who had al committed suicide in May 1945. The soldiers could not comprehend the bizarre scene !!!!

I heard that the Hindu black magic is supposed to be notoriously dark and evil... I never pursued looking at it because I don't need to lay awake at night thinking about horrible things done by sickening "people " .
But when I lived in Florida and was involved with a Buddhist group there there was a crazy ass lawyer from Orlando ; she was into some really effed up stuff with the Hindu Magic.
After a weekend retreat people were forming a short line up to talk to the Lama.
She was in front of me , stepped out of line and motioned for me and she said ," you first" and I said "no that's okay ; you go."
She grabbed my left wrist... held it up very high as if forcing my hand in a pledge or oath position.. she was considerably taller than me and I tried to pull away and couldn't ! Not until the third or fourth try was I able to yank myself from that nut.
She looked absolutely INSANE when she looked at the Lama while holding me and saying ,
      " HERE SHE IS !"..
She reminded me of Gloria Swanson in the ending of the movie Sunset Boulevard where she's walking towards the camera and her eyes are real wide.. insanely wild and glazed over.
When she did this the Lama gasped in a way where he took a huge breath .. with his wide open mouth and I knew he was sucking in something out of the air ...her energy or something...
The whole thing really creeped me out... when I sat back down she sat behind me and an elderly man who was with her crew apologized and immediately started briskly massaging my upper back and shoulders and the back of my arms and neck.. I felt very relieved and I could feel he was a real wonderful human being.
It was as if he had pulled all the negativity out of me.
I found out later he had been a war hero during World War II and had been very kind to the captive Germans he had to guard.
Supposedly years after the war some of them tracked him down to thank him for being kind and gentle when they were imprisoned.
Oddly enough his daughter was nothing like him and he knew it . She was a lawyer who was beyond conniving ... but I mean really harmful stuff ..really bad.
I made friends with the other woman there..Jan Michele.
About two years later Jan Michelle told me all about that insane bitch ... and how her own father had told Jan that his daughter was evil and that the only saving grace was that she had lousy social skills.
I said yeah I had noticed she was pretty nerdy.
Jan told me she had been living with this lawyers father in his big sprawling beautiful home as his caretaker and then they became best friends .
She told me a heartbreaking story of how when she was away one weekend the daughter, Mary Beth Fitzgibbons and her husband had given him a wine that must have had something in it that made him temporarily blind.. he said she was very good at knowing herbs and roots , elixirs , powders, Etc .
I totally believe this story which gets worse : they had him sign some documents but he could not see what he was signing ..they directed his hand.
Sometime shortly thereafter he ended up in the hospital and the evil daughter had told the surgeons do not resuscitate him which was actually against this man's will ..he had a love of life and wanted to live.
My girlfriend said there was a weird tumor sticking out of his side... you could see it sticking right through the skin and Marybeth told the surgeons not to perform any surgery.. just let him be.
Jan-Michele said not only was she shocked when he died so quickly and very untimely but that his body was not disposed of in the way that he wished and she evicted Jan who had health ailments ..she had had a massive heart attack shortly before that and almost died.. also had skin cancer and other health problems.
The night Papi ( as she nicknamed him ).. the evening Papu died Mary Beth came to the house and threw her out ..in the rain ..made this poor woman in her mid-50s homeless.. despite the fact originally he had made Jan the beneficiary and executor of his will... and he wanted her to have the house since his other daughter who was his favorite had just died of cancer. Marybeth even put all her possessions ..many of which were antiques, out in the rain .
This Mary Beth was a really evil person and still is..
Jan Michele said that when she lived there Marybeth would sometimes show up with a Hispanic woman who would kill roosters for there black magic ..she said it was pretty awful.
That all went down after I moved out of Florida... but while I was living there an attending those teachings I figured I'm not afraid of her ..to me she's just an irritating little pest and shortly after she had grabbed my wrist she was showing up at all the other special teachings by the same lama, Lama Gursam..( you can actually find on UA-cam.. I think some vids of him at a place maybe called Vulture Peak.) He travels all over the world communing with and blessing animals .
This Lama is pretty damn powerful.. when we were at BIG CAT RESCUE in Suburban Tampa, Florida , a group of maybe eight of us in total... I watched these people walking and looking as if they were hypnotized zombies every now and then.. the only other person who was not like that was the 13 year old granddaughter.
But I actually felt scared .. horrified watching them and I couldn't figure out what the hell is going on and really wondered what I was doing there .

Hello Thomas, I-m Pedro and I-m portuguse, I-m also what I like to call an Occult student and I have the original book in portuguese, actually it was the first book I read on Occult, I was 12, so it was 20 years ago, now I have an entire library, I read it outloud, and to me nothing special happened but the begining of an era of self knowledge and Mysticism/Magick, but I don-t deny however that the book is very powerful, but what I want to ask is, is your version written in red and black with the last part in green? I should add that I did fell some strange things at the time, now that I remember a little more, but nothing compared with Enochian magick or Goetia, but that depends on the beliefs of each person, I was never too Christian so since the book is based on Jewish/Christian Teologies I didn-t get so much effect, but I know people who went mad and some even read it backwards and stayed cool... depends...

It is not the Book of Saint Cyprian or a Book of Shadows or some ancient grimoire but the practitioner behind the magic that causes harm or malice. The Book of Saint Cyprian or with the Portuguese Cyprian: The Sorcerer's Treasure contains very little evocation, instead drawing upon oral traditions relating to divination, healing spells, prayers. I do not see this text as that malevolent or dangerous compared with let’s say Anton Levay’s Satanic Bible. I will say this I admirer Gerald Gardner and his credo “HARM NONE” and his Universal law which states whatever harm you put out will come back three fold.

Owning any grimoire is not dangerous unless your intentions are dangerous. I own 7 grimoire books. Includ the book of forbidden knowledge, the three magical books of Solomon, the grand grimoire or the red dragon and st cyprian. I read them because occult history fascinates me. Again, The dangers of grimoire depends on your intentions.

I do realize that to understand where others behaviors come from, one sometimes must read, experience, etc. where their thought process is based and that it can be a treacherous journey. I do notice your white zombie t-shirt and I am familiar with Rob's works. I just hope that you don't go to far down certain rabbit holes my friend.

I assume because the second hand book you bought could have traces of occult activity from the previous owner/s that you wouldn't want potentially affecting you and/or your magic.
I've bought a lot of used occult nooks and no issues, but I won't speak for this book or anything else.
Also, my individual used occult books will be different, individually, from any other individual title of the same used occult book.

Hi Thomas, greetings from NewZealand. Nice accurate description of Cyprian. You say that it would not be a good thing for the masses to awaken to this stuff. It is an unfortunate paradox that these hopes fly in the face of contemporary trends, as this appears to be happening. Magick has become the new "New-Age" for disaffected millenials. Previously uninterested groups such as Afro-Americans are discussing all the old chestnuts of occultism. It's all so very available now. Sadly I have no doubt whatsoever that we shall be reading about some twit "raising their own doves", in the States and losing the plot. Wait till sex-magick becomes a popular pastime. Best wishes Thomas....David

      @BigHenFor 6 років тому

Afro-americans disinterested in the occult? Never. It's always been there, even though it has been largely syncretized with Christianity. Even though the "Outer Court" traditions are strongly rooted in folk practices, there has been a "hardcore" portion who are now exploring the ritual practices of the West, and of West Africa and Egypt in order to affirm their identity, but also rediscover their own power.

The forest is part of me and I will not use any book that the forest does not approve of if you think this sounds crazy then you don't know druids for they say they best druids were half mad.

Great stuff - really appreciate your work Thomas. Quick question - what do you see as the main metaphysical differences between the Druids and the Gnostics? Given that they are both monastic throughout certain periods of their history and underground, do you see any significant differences?
PS - When I say "gnostic" I mean it quite generally, from Ophites, Zoroastrian, Christian, Manecheaistic etc.

    • @ThomasSheridanArts
      @ThomasSheridanArts  8 років тому +2

while the Gnostic religion had very specific theological outlines: the earth being a prison, jesus was not a god and jehovah was a demon, the driuds were more philosophical in their approach by using magic and storytelling.

I respect your warning, however I was told that having any physical copy of a Grimoire leads to trouble. I paid Hell just trying to get a serviceable DIGITAL copy of the 6th and 7th Spirit Books of Moses and it plagues me to this day. Since we are in a war, we are forced to evaluate the risk/benefit of studying the field manuals of The Enemy in order to defeat them and if it is worth the injury sustained. Having read the Bible several times I think it is the most dangerous Grimoire of all Time.

Can you share an update on your take of this book? Is there a Spanish Version that is as accurate as that one if this is an accurate translation? In case you are wondering I am a reader of theological books. I own the Bible , The Book of Mormon both in English and Spanish, an English translation of the Koran and the Cathecism and I have the Atheist Manifesto. In my Kendall I started with the Picatrix and find the Grimorium Verum and the book you have in your hand interesting. But, I do better reading them in Spanish or Catellano. Learning Latin and hope to read them in Latin if available. Forgot to mention; "Principia Mathematica" by Isaac Newton.

Really. Are you Thomas Sheridan warning us about this book? Because I find this book child’s
play. This certainly is not the most dangerous book.
Near the end of your spiel you say, “and you will, just by reading the text of these books,
your dreams do, become very different”…Interesting choice, usage of the vocal
words. How weak are those people that allow that, unless allowed deliberately
or subconsciously JI thought I was reading an episode of the TV show Charmed.
I was recommended this book by a friend, who is aware of my thirst and appetite of ancient and
old magic. As usual with such types of things, for me, there was an air of mystic
surrounding the book. This is partially due to when it was written and by whom.
Also because of the hype (conditioning) caused by charlatans ^^ over the eons
and present day. This has to be one of the funniest books I have read. The naivety of the author and perhaps
the interpretation into English (though well written), had me in giggles. I
suppose believing in God and the Devil would help….wasn’t it the Devil (snake)
who gave Lilith/Eve free will, because God wanted servitude, worship and obedience.…Oh
my apologies, I am moving off topic.
The devil in the black dress watches over, my guardian angel walks away. Not a complete
waste of money and if you believe in religion, it’s a must. For you see, what
one is able to dwell on, is there was magic, evil, goodness before religion.
Which kind off eradicates God and the Devil. Happy reading people.
On another note, I now seem to be on the search for used coffin nails…ha ha.

I can understand some of the reasoning behind his vagueness, but I do agree that it can be frustrating. He touched on some of it with the comments about animal abuse though, that was shockingly common in some older magical traditions. And he's right, it's pointlessly violent and we have alternatives. A lot of strides have made in magic since then.

I'm someone unfamiliar with the practice and literature of occult content and have found many of these"morons" you speak of. You mentioned that there are numerous ways to create a stream of energy. My question to you who, I imagine are adept in these practices and insights, is can magic, or a stream of energy, be created through art, be it visual in painting and drawing, musical, theatrical or literary? As I understand, magic can be thought of as shifts in consciousness provided by the manipulation of symbols and images. Thank you and have a good new year.
