Liam Maupin actually I’ve owned 7 of this generation Legacy turbo. And I currently still own a mint 1992 Subaru Legacy turbo 5spd with 100k on it and yes it’s a Sochi single turbo one of the best engines ever made. The 2 liter twin turbo wasn’t a reliable engine and and none of those cars lasted. I’d be very surprised if they were the twin turbo but it could be. All I know is that I absolutely love the first generation Legacy turbo.
I have owned and driven circa 130 cars over the last 25 years.most makes and various models new and old. The most reliable and favourite have been Scoobies. Turbo or naturally aspirated. Glad they have stepped away from the diesels. My two Pennies worth .
