If another comment here is correct, it takes a random letter and adds -uish onto the end for generated colors.
This means that some generated colors are canonically Juish.

You get the dodge at the end of the turn after you’ve been hit, then it wears off because it’s the end of the turn.

I think "dodge all damage at the end of turn" means after the enemies finish attacking you. So you just dodge at a time when you can never take any damage except from stuff like lightning or poison.

19:25 I believe it's because the item stops working when you have shields, watch shaman at the end of this turn when she gets a shield. The blindfold effect goes away

Enemies don't do damage at the end of your turn but during their own. The only end-of-turn-damage I can think of would be poison.

Does "end of turn" mean after the enemies attack (so end of the enemies turn)? If so that would explain the dodge doing nothing.
