Thank you for the video, beautiful lady.Take care.
Welcome to South Africa, I was training on the 44 and she is far easier to fly than the 22 so hats off off to you, you eased into the 22 like nobody's business :)
Awesome!! I've flown with Steph when she was with the SAPS Airwing. she is a phenomenal pilot, she definitely knows her stuff when it comes to being in command. If I remember correctly she was in her early twenties at the time flying for the police service.
Flying in small helicopters is absolutely awesome - right at the top of my list of unforgettable experiences. The second aircraft I ever flew in was a JetRanger helicopter (sitting in the left seat). I just wish this video had been a lot longer as the sights in SA are also fantastic (SA is still not crossed off my list of places to visit).
When I saw your flight was "across Africa", I figured the it ended in Cairo... 😁😊 Loved watching. Think I know what I might like to do if I had my life over again... (...I'd better admit that I'm phobic and cannot get into ANYTHING that flies ....although I'm endlessly fascinated by the wonder of flight). Happy flying girls... 🦒👍🏽
Rosita. Remember the night we spent in Halifax ? You were so beautiful naked in moonlight. Thanks for that. I hope your insides are reminded of our joining together and the release we both felt.
It was a lot of fun joining you on this trip and seeing our beautiful country from the air. And it was awesome seeing you visit my hometown airport, New Tempe! 😃
Amazing video, Rosita! A 40 min video seemed to me like it was only 5. I strongly hope both of you do some other videos together. Steph seems to be so calm and relaxed and also very sharp controlling every thing. BTW: congrats on your almost 100K subs!! Well done Pilot Bambi! I subsribed when you were droping parachutters in Central America. It´s incredible how far you have gone! As always, cheers from NE patagonia, Argentina.
great flying in both types shows that Robinsons are pretty good with the right amount of light control in put and no need for heavy inputs in the controls
Bambi, You are such a quick learner! I'm so impressed with your skills!! It's a fun journey watching you fly so many different types of aircraft!! 🙂👍👍👍
Hi Rosita, I must say this is the greatest video you have uploaded so far! I am in my ATPL studies right now, but I will be starting my helicopter training as soon as I have graduated. Looking forward to seeing you in the skies. Thank you for the great video!
Steph is so cool. You just want her as a friend , she's so neat , knowledgeable , easy going , proficient , and downright beautiful. What a package. Oh , the cross country trip was nice too. Well filmed and edited PB,
I strongly recommend the Bose headset with LEMO plug 'cause in case one gets to fly in an airplane (or aircraft) equipped with LEMO, plane power will power the ANR circuitry and you never run out of battery...
Only 8 minutes in, and I already love everything about this video! The setup is very good, everything is being explained, good audio and it is very well filmed again! Love your videos, but you know this by now I hope.
Thank you so so much!!😁 This message really means alot to me. It took A LOT of work, but I wanted this video to give the exact "feel" that we had during the trip itself. I'm so happy I could share this adventure with you :)
Hi Pilot Bambi, I just absolutely loved this video, it for me simply is one of your best! Excellent editing! Steph is a highly professional and exceptional confidence inspiring instructor and with both your great personalities it was a pleasure to watch 2 professional pilots become one with the R22 strapped to your backs on route to Cape Town! Please fly with Steph again if the opportunity arises. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you so much for your awesome message Andre! Agreed, Steph is such an inspiring and knowledgeable instructor. I hope I get to fly with her again soon!
Brilliant video - it's wonderful recognising all the landmarks on your journey. I lived in Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Pretoria, worked close to Swartkops AFB and grew up about 5km's away from the Tempe airfield outside Bloem. Enjoying this immensely, it gives me the "warm fuzzies".
Beautiful flight. Excellent scenery, editing, music and learning experience. Enjoyed first flight and solo flights too. Wish I could do this. Stuck with R/C planes and copters.
What a cool video Tks for sharing! Where I live "routing" has a rather different connotation. We use "tracking" in our position reporting, every so often a SAn accent comes up on frequency, routing here, routing there and routing anywhere, brings a wry smile to many pilot's faces. Flysafe, good job ladies.
I really like Steph's accent, it sounds like a mix of aussie with a little bit of dutch or german and some scottish flare to it... come to think this might be the first time I've listened to anyone from south africa
@@PilotBambi Yes, I agree, great editing. I loved the intro with short preview and then a “Video- Cassette- Rewind” back to the start, absolutely brilliant! 😀👍
Another super enjoyable video by a knowledgeable and inviting pilot. I thought I'd only hang out a few minutes in this video. But instead watch the whole thing through. Instructive and fun.
WOW!! What a blast, cross country in a helicopter!! Love the low flight views!! Your very confident in that tiny machine!! Looks like your stopping, every few miles. Got to be a great feeling, flying off the plateau! Think, as much fun as it was, it also added up to quite a bit of work too!!
You've made me very homesick... I spent 20 years in Joburg, and have driven a similar route down to Cape Town in my little MG, but much more impressive flying it at low level - very envious!
Well what a wonderful adventure with two charming ladies to fly with,I was impressed with your flying ability and delicate touch on the controls.I am sure that you will be in demand to deliver more helicopter's for new owners in the future, thank you for a super video.
Helicopter flying in Africa maybe the best, more better than in a fix-wing ! Because one can fly the heli and enjoy the wonderful, breathtaking landscape of african wilderness ! 👍👍👍
This seems soo damn cool to be able to do this. Can’t wait to finish my ppl to get started with helicopters and hopefully a atpl someday. The video turned out amazingly well
I can tell you how much I have enjoyed your videos on learning to fly a helicopter. As a recently obtained instrument rated pilot SEL I want to transition over to rotowing which was my passion all along. Seeing how well you transitioned gives me hope that mine will go smooth as well. Thank you!
I absolutely enjoyed this video from start to finish! What an amazing adventure and what an allround aviator you are! The 360 cam is just so versatile and is just fantastically suited for use in the cockpit and also on the outside. Are you editing yourself? Anyway, fantastic video and I'm looking forward to the next one 💛
Brava signorina Rosita! ~ *Message to the owner of the R22* If you read this, then please receive great thanks from Bambi's viewers for allowing her to fly your helicopter. And of course great thanks to miss Stephanie for setting this up. 👍
Ah ha! I figured out the LEMO connector thing. It looks like a nice option, but seems to be out of stock everywhere. I switched my order to the U174 connector, and will just hope that a U174 to dual-plug adapter will work when needed. crossing fingers!
I bambi hope you are well. Nice to see you and my new friend. Brilliant work what a awesome flight. You are brilliant happy flying once again take care and keep safe philip. ❤💜
All the time she spoke like a great instructor always having a teachable moment to share and giving positive feedbacks!
Absolutely! She really is a fantastic instructor!
she is a true great instructor and has a great way to build a positive confidence for the beginner next to her.
