I gotten hair extensions my hair never grows past my shoulders and year after year I was missing long hair and it never grew healthy it was long and stringy felt like hay in my 20s so in my 30s and 40s it wasn’t giving me volume or lengh. In my 50s I just got extentions and I’m so happy with my hair it’s beautiful, silky and shiny and the investment is worth it.

Wow. American's always pay so much more than we do for everything. My extensions cost £630 and that was the best quality and same method you got. It only costs £50 to maintain my 2 rows every 8 weeks. Thanks for making this video.

    • @balogbea82

Mine was even cheaper, i bought 50cm european hair, exactly same texture (wavy) as mine for £250, install was £1.50/ each, i have 100, crystal keratin £50 and to dye was £90. Alltogeher i paid £540… i’ve never understand why people don’t buy their hair from the suppliers, why from a hairdresser for more expensive price? I think it’s just lazyness.

Coming out of love with this comment, as a fellow cosmetologist. The beads are silicone for beaded rows not metal. And NBR might not be called NBR with every brand used :) 🤍🤍it could just be called “Beaded sew in wefts”

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feedback.
I absolutely love the look of hair extensions, but I, personally, don't think I could handle them.
I will use halo extensions, because I can removed them easily and quickly.
However, I wish that I could handle more permanent extensions.
Yours looked amazing, but so does your natural hair!
You are simply beautiful regardless! ;)

Ah, thanks. I'll get them in 2 weeks and wanted to learn more about them. I love long hair, but I ruined mine and had to cut it short. Now they're healthier than ever bc I don't bleach them, don't straighten them and do anything with heat. I put oils and masks, and I think I'm ready for hair extensions. Why would I take care of my own hair if I'm getting the extensions? Bc I saw many women who had bleached their hair manyyy times in the year and when they get the extensions, the first days are fine, but then... it's separated, like a helmet. The split ends will show trough and the extensions will be fine, ofc when u style it it goes away, it's still fine. But knowing that when I won't have the time and see them like that... no. So I recommend first managing your hair if you dyed/bleached/styled it often so it will smoothly blend with the extensions whenever you don't have time to style them 😉

Hi Kaelee!!! Guess what???? I got my extensions installed yesterday, I love them!!! I feel a little tight the rows but not too much. I can see and feel the difference between little hair and now with 2 rows, it’s kind of heavy, but I just have less than 24 hours using them…. One question, in the maintenance should I see ‘bald’ where I have the rows ? I’m asking because I see a different UA-cam video I saw the girl has scalp bald on that area so I got worried 😟

I live in Asheville, NC. My hair girl doesn’t upcharge for the hair itself, which is $575. The install was $500, then once you factor in a tip you’re looking at another $150-ish. The install price includes blending, styling them at the salon. We did not have to custom color the extensions since mine matched my hair perfectly, I’m not sure if that would be extra? Also, the mini-maintenance “move ups” are $50/per row and we do them every 6-7 weeks, with a full resew after two move ups. The full resew is $300. Hopefully this helps someone! I’m beyond happy with mine & can’t speak highly enough of Alise at Wild Ivy for anyone in the Asheville, NC area.

Literally tons of different places, one of the biggest importers though is India. Women grow their hair to their ankles to cut and sell for hundreds of dollars to stay a float, look it up. It's a huge thing, and they do it willingly. Although, obviously there are some skeezy companies out there who use illegal methods to obtain hair or sell faux alternatives; the majority of companies follow a strict process to make sure the hair is sold willingly and they know exactly who the hair belonged to.
