And don't sweat the interaction causing grief. Nature will do what it wants, and those sea lions were clearly more interested in you, and at no point did I see you pursuing them. You're right in all your statements from your other video.
If people didn't explore, how would we come to understand and respect the world we live in? Don't get too bent up about those that live to be negative, they're just lost and misguided. Everything you've done has been about conservation, positivity, and love; so keep on that path.
Looking forward to catching up again one day soon.

@@patricka4365 where do you live? If around the lower mainland I would recommend Oceanoid or Sea to Sky Freediving. If on the island Bottom Dwellers. They are all great people and are currently training. I believe they availability is minimal though so I wouldn't wait to long to register.

Was kinda hoping to see what under the sandheads lighthouse is it a doable dive? You gonna try again?
It's do able, but it's hard to predict the best time. I was thinking high slack but I'm thinking low slack might be better. It's tricky though as it's very dependent on wind and tide. Our window is closing though, once the freshest comes down the river it won't be possible.

They do have gnarly teeth but are actually super friendly. They are like a little puppy. I've seen 3 but unfortunately they are not overly common. Such a cool creature.

Welcome to the island. We moved back from the mainland in 2016 and thought the housing market was crazy then. Its gone up and up so if you know you want to move to the island then nows the time.
Homes in Nanaimo and upsland are set to go up as Victoria is getting too pricy for people.
Yeah man it's insane. We had our place for sale before Sayla but we put that on hold until after she was born. Then we had zyah on the way haha... We waited to long and the prices skyrocketed so we jumped in. I feel like I could relist my place right now and turn a profit but we just want to live in a home and not a condo. We feel very fortunate to have secured a place that's for sure

When I see her smiling with wonder at the world around her, I think of Jesus telling us to come to the Father as children. Agreed! I've been trying to make the most out of diving in the mainland during the pandemic but I would be lying if I said I didn't miss the island. There is no comparison. We can't wait!

Cheers! That's one way to spell it but hers is spelt Sayla. We call it the female version of sailor or the Australian pronunciation of sailor haha. I think Saleh had a religious context which my mom liked haha
Oh that’s sweet! We named our sailboat the other version. Selah. It’s a prime vessel for free diving complete with hot outdoor shower off the swim grid. So cozy with warm water in the suit before heading in.
@@bartncharity sounds like a dream! We sold our boat just after we had Sayla. Selah is a really nice name too. Lucky man, I hope to have a boat again someday!
