That orange makes me want a KTM
I am so glad you came back. Your easier to understand than most with your explanations.
Thank you again for sharing your hard earned knowledge with us! I personally enjoy the voice over videos like this, you do well with them.
Great video,as always.Thanks for posting
I appreciate the response!
Great to see you back creating content!
I'm about to powder the running gear of my range rover or RUST rover as its known just now in KTM orange.
Awesomeness!
If this has been asked/covered my apologies in advance, but I'm curious as to your grounding set up...can you make a video of you grounding set up..preferred clips, cables, grounding rods etc. Thanks.
Just a quick thank you for taking the time to share your skills and talent.
You make it look so easy and in time with practice I'm sure it gets easier.
Can you tell us how you got started and your progression into powder coating?
I had a after market aluminum bumper with grille guard the customer had it sand blasted before it was brought to me. The bumper was very rough at the time I was fairly new at powder coating so I thought that it would smooth out after I powder coated the bumper, not so much. I ended up stripping the bumper and after finding some answers I used a filler primer yes it was that rough. sanded it did a regular epoxy primer did the color coat and clear and it turned out awesome. good tip to do 2 coats
I like to use an I-bolt and nut in the valve stem hole . I think it leaves a better over all finished look . But still you do nice work
Another great vid. You eluded to differences in low end vs high end guns while shooting in blind holes and how a high end gun does not over charge the outer. Could you do a video about these differences and how we’d know (settings or whatever) if a gun we have has the higher end features or not?
Nice job….
I use primer a lot on steel gates and wondered about this. Gelling out would be the powder just looking shiny. I didn't realise it doesn't have to reach temperature.
Love your videos, very helpful. What's your process on zink primer? Flow out plus couple minutes? Or partial cure at temp? Thanks.
Yeah flow out and a few mins typically
I just quit a company not long ago because they kept telling me "you shake the gun to much so we don't believe you have the experience you say" 😂 it's all good they were only paying 17 an hour. Back to picking in a warehouse 😩
Love your videos. I just want to ask a question, is it possible, after a semi-cure part, to use tape to do a two-tone part instead of using a vacuum or a rag?
You can use tape but can't do a full cure with tape on partially cured powder
how do you not get back ionization with your gun getting so close to the wheel?
What settings are you running for your first coat? Using Gema as well
What is KTM orange you used?
this is KTM Orange II as the title states. Its from Prismatic
