Document all the things you are doing as far as childcare so that you can show that you are the sole caregiver for when the inevitable custody battle occurs. Consult with a good divorce lawyer. Even if you decide not to file for divorce right away, at least you'll be ready. If you do not live in a very large town such that there are not many divorce lawyers, consult with all of them, or at least all the top ones, before you pick the one you want to hire. That way, she won't be able to hire any of them. And in the meantime, stop paying her bills, at least for that game. Because, at this point, you are enabling her addiction (I am not blaming you; she is responsible for her own behavior, including for taking advantage of you, but you don't have to let her take advantage of you).

We know from statistics that fathers are better parents when they have sole custody of the child. But we have to take a jab at an old trope that was created for comedy. I agree that he should not have married her if she was a poor partner but women in general becoming absentee parents does not solve any issue. Any absentee parent harms the children. Why would you wish that fate on the innocent ones with no agency? It’s vile and disgusting. No mother or Father should be absent from their children’s lives.
