  • I was super curious to check out Slaughter To Prevail as I've only heard one song by them before. With a new album on the way I figured what better time to check out their new song "Conflict". I definitely didn't expect a lot of traditional hardcore influence but I'm not complaining.
Thanks for getting In The Pit. Have a song you think I should check out? Leave a comment below and if I haven't heard it, I'll put it on the list.

What Slaughter To Prevail song should I check out next? Leave a comment below so I can get my brain bashed in by some sweet sonic brutality.

Check out Kingdom of Storm and Thunder. It's a hidden gem that has very few other react videos about it.

Cant miss with any of their songs. Anything from Kostolom slaps. They have a track for everyone.

Their song 1984 also has a bit of a hardcore vibe to it. I'm pretty sure Alex said that part you mentioned is 3 vocal layers put on top of each other. I'm not a huge fan of it, but it works in this song just to give it something a little bit different. Ouroboros is still my favorite song from them, but the entire Kostolom album is really good along with their other most recent single Viking.
If you're looking for other heavy bands, I'd recommend Face Yourself. They've only been around for a little over a year and are getting ready for their first tour. Guillotine from their most recent EP is my pick to start, but any of their videos are worth checking out.

Yeah I went and listened to a higher quality version of the track after filming and it's definitely a stacked vocal with some sort of effect on it. Not quite distortion, more of a modulation. I think it ultimately works fine but yeah not the biggest fan.
I will absolutely check out Face Yourself!
