Hi Dave..I've just started following you and I'm really enjoying it..I too am a massive Paiste guy..I use the 602s,Signature and I love te Pstx swiss crashes..Love em..I too played Pearl for many years..Obviously Export then BLX in Sequoia red 22,10,12,13,16.. I notice you have the Pearl aluminium 14x6.5 too.I also had one and loved it..I part ex'd it for a Pearl maple free floater 14x6.5 and I didn't enjoy it as much as the aluminium.. I did part ex it for a Pearl Steve Ferrone which was unbelievable and I wished I still had..I sold it and got a pork pie inbright green and multiple breathe holes..Lovely drum.. I sold the BLX and got a Pearl Masters Custom in broken glass glitter 22,8,10,12,14,16..Wish I still had it..Had many kits since but I have a Yamaha absolute hybrid in silver glass glitter 22,10,12,14,16 and love it..Just a blah blah sorry but I love to hear about people's gear and any interest info on them..Cheers Dave.

Completely agree. I only ever saw two snares in this finish, wish I'd bought the other one too now. It was the 13" version.

Amongst your Pearl snares, have you come across the Sensitone Phosphor Bronze..?
I had one - really bright, crisp and cutting. A lighter sound than brass but with all the attack. I loved it......but still sold it :-/
