Great review as well, especialy after this test in net has brought some confused brains on that. I like to have one of these, but at the time they isn‘t affordable for me…
Been debating on getting a Scope wheelset for my S5. What I am torn about is the slight variation between Artech 6 vs Artech 6.A. Any thoughts on which would be better long term wise?
@@dtdcampbell Depends what you want the wheels for. The A6 are lighter, probably a little faster, but the A6A still around 1300g and would be my choice if I could only own one set of wheels. Cover every use from hill climb to gravel.
If the wheels are solely for your S5 it comes down to what size tires your want to run. The Artech 6 you’ll run 28s. The Artech 6A you’ll run 30s for optimum performance. That’s really the only thing you need to make a decision.
@ I would go with the 6.A then. Honestly I kind of wish I went with the 6.A so I could run 30s without sacrificing that small amount of performance. I have rode both size tires and the 30s are noticeably more comfortable.
those wheels look really good!! nice job

Please do a bike check/review of your SL8. I would love to see what you're running 😊

Is it possible to do a video about your components of choice or reccomendations for the SL8? Thank you!
@@Pedal_of_Attrition Yep, will try to get one done this week.

@ which I have been running 28 on the bike. But 30 has crossed the mind since everyone seems to be going wider

@ So torn since another factor is as of now you can only get lower rolling resistance tires like the Corsa Pro Speed or Conti 5000 TT TR in up to 28.
Absolutely love the wheels! My only issue/gripe are the white spots but I guess I can deal with the extra steps needed to prevent it.
Hookless on a gravel wheel?!@!?......manufacturing-cost-saving insanity.
@@aintnobodygottime4dat Just following suit, 95% of gravel wheelsets are now hookless.
