just a quick statement regarding the leaderboards situation. i stopped star grinding about 2-3 months ago already, because i didnt want to put that much time into the game anymore. obviously i knew what the consequences would be. but i still enjoy the game and will continue playing, just a bit less and only for fun. so for now, there wont be a comeback. ;)

Why don't they just use all designs for upcoming updates? I mean rob wouldn't run out of ideas and a cool thing he could do is implement a voting system for upcoming icons on a website or in GD itself. I can't decide on some of these so this would be a cool idea!

I can see why rob got nominated a lot, but lightning vortex didn't even try and got nominated 400 times lmao.
The problem with most of these icons and stuff is that people are over-thinking them. They make them TOO complex. In that group A of UFOs Lightning Vortex nailed it with his turtle UFO. It was simple, and I loved it. People get too into the icon and add WAY too much. That group A turtle had to win. xddd

There have been so many submissions, some were nominated, others went eliminated. I honestly don't know what to say.. I don't believe that out of these submissions, many nominated icons are so overused and look so boring... Well, some looked nice out of these nominees, but I have to say that I expected more than just these icons :( Hope there is more consideration to the nominees! :P

These contests could happen more often but more get implemented. There could be a user icon section where say every 10 UC you get a random user icon. It would add more progress in the game and would be cool to see all the different types. The best ones could even have a separate unlock or be in the shop..

Honestly, there should be a limit to how many submissions you can send for nominations so then other people can have a chance at getting nominated, and not just Rob Buck and Lightning Vortex's icons. It's not that I hate Rob and Lightning, I just think it's not fair for everyone else.
