“Just test it out” is probably the best advice I’ve ever received. It’s simple, easy to do, and usually faster than trying to find an appropriate UA-cam video or reddit thread.
yea, now I mostly play to raise whole ship fleets up to 120, and with a little skill affinity checking and pairing you absolutely SEE the performance difference betweeen ships during farming and in OpSi
It just gets really complicated once you start factoring barrages, and because the game doesn't actually tell you the modifiers for these barrages most of the time, it still requires scouring wikis to try and figure it out. If barrages were at least somewhat standardized it'd be a different story, but you have barrages that are completely insignificant, and then there's barrages you run blue guns or torps for just because they fire faster, just so you can get more barrages. Once you start factoring in armor mods it gets even more complicated, and personally the most I'll do is compare stats between individual ships in order to try to decide what gear to run on them
Jimmy talk about how they nerfed Halford. Her planes no longer spawn from the main fleet area, rather exactly at her position, rendering her planes useless to use. They barely will help intercept since they spawn too close (and immediately shot down by enemy AA ships) and they can't target anything fast enough to fire their missiles (which are designed for medium and heavy armor). We need them to revert that change. It completely makes using planes on her a waste. One more point, her skill is basically useless as well. If she deploys the planes, if any AA is in the field, they just get shot down instantly, wasting her skill to debuff enemies completely. Using a plane on her is now a complete waste of an AUX slot.
Hey, been watching your equipment playlist. Love it. I understand how to find enemy's armor type now and got some knowledge of equipment. But as I understand there are some ships that fare better against certain armor types, how do you find that?
Then theirs me who doesn't really care that much who is stronger than who I play with the ship girls I like. I also don't run faction fleets. I like mixed fleets.
Faction fleets aside from headcanon/memes has largely been irrelevant for a long time now and in many cases is a detriment. Back when I started playing in 2019, ships were designed a lot differently and many of their skills either enhanced ships in same faction or required being paired with ships of the same faction. You don't really see that much anymore, let alone the insanely strong individual ships we have access to now that 99% just outright trumps anything else.
@danck941 To put it into better words, back then faction fleets were a thing, now it definitely isn't. You can mix ships to sync with each other. You end up with non-stop barrages, firing, and cycling air support to the point of spamming them. It really depends mostly on who you pair with who but for 95 percent of the content even at chapter 15 (which I'm using mix and faction fleets)it doesn't really matter as each battle requires different things.
@@danck941 Yeah don't worry too much about factions fleets. Until you reach CH15 and begin to hit the OPSI boss on normal and hard, you can focus instead on just having solid equipment, upgrading them to 10 (don't worry about 10+ ing them just lvl10 will do you well right now. ), have fun and go crazy.
nice Video, i actually doesnt know why some ships good and some doest.... if its ranbow somehow its good then.... ah btw Brest is tanky, thats all i know
I started playing in 2019 and my philosophy has always been; Whos the best? done. New ship(s)? Are they better than the 12 main ships I'm currently using? If not, then I don't waste my time or resources. Its had the knock on effect of always having a massive surplus of resources, cubes etc. But the side effect of my collections and Fleet Tech being way lower than someone else with my sheer amount of playtime in AL. Only caring about raw performance/meta has been my approach to pretty much every game as I don't really care how something looks, or its backstory/faction etc. Just is it the best.
Tbf sometimes some skills sound very good on paper and then turns out they are not top-notch or even good, for example, Reno i always thought her skills were very good, but they weren't, also, her stats are meh. So now i look for stats and for visuals, and the game provides.
My way is simple. For URs, if it is IJN, it's the best, KMS, it's solid, HMS is support and EU... Vanguards good, Main Fleet gimmicky. Has yet to fail me.
IJN is really the only outlier as far as keeping the faction together. The rest of comps is just a combination of gimmicks and outright OP individual performers, esp against whatever mechanic/armor type you're up against.
Jimmy over here checking out ships HP and Luck stats etc while I'm checking out their height and 3 sizes.
The most important stat(s) of all

keep your secrets i just wanna copy your setups and play 🧠 dead 💀
TLDR: How to tell if a ship is good.
1: Is the ship named Perseus? = Good
2: Is the ship not named Perseus? = Bad
You're welcome.
You should give the other shipgirls a chance, even if they will never come close to Perseus.
Perseus is great and all, but Babysitter Akashi is king. I say that but I"m so tired of 12-4
Dewey is endgame material and i will die on that hill

Imma gain so much AL aura after this video. Thank you Jimmy.
Now i just need this for equipment.
Equipment is a little more complicated but this playlist should help

@junkiexl86 Nice! I was basically just putting my favorite ships together into fleets regardless of faction.

@@oscarfunez3806 Thanks for the info. I'm still newer to the the game. I'm only level 77 at the moment.

faction fleet skk and i love my IB ships, Fritz Rumey, UvH, BisZwei, Agir, Z52, Hindenburg
Does anyone know how to obtain the Ju87 d4? Like how to get blueprints for the planes before it in the gear lab. Thanks
purple/blue ironblood tech boxes contain one of its precursors

step 1: check the community tier list :)
But I want to know if the ship is good on the release day, not half a year later
You mean the one that has been abandoned? lol
Bruh you got ratioed, it was reliable until it was abandoned. Kinda sad tho, that website used to help me in gearing

I am new to the game, I just want to collect my ship waifu but this game making me use too much brain for real

The way I tell if a ship good is I look at other ppl who have good accounts and just copy what they do. EZPZ unga bunga
High 5, I also do that XD
