you need both, bunker buster and iron breaker mod. i do get rich with mining, but not with precious metals. i sell mostly stone and sand.

you forgot to add the fact that you could have sold the stone, with those buffs for around 50k, on top of what you gained from the rare minerals... totally incorrect assessment IMO
