I’ve always wondered why I felt more confortable w the 1x sight on guns where it felt like it would benefit me more to use the bruiser (i.e. Havoc & R-301)

Weird because I literally can't use the 301 or Hemlok without a 2x or 3x sight. I think my eyesight must suck because I don't know how people use the 1x & beam people across the map; everyone looks like an ant to me.

Also something else that's interesting is that apex lowers the sensitivity for all scopes including the 1x even if you set your ads to be the same as hipefire.

Sights lower your sens even the iron sights aren’t the same sens as hipfire in game. Irons are approx 30% slower sens than hipfire depending on your fov

Respawn has to come up with a way to fix this, to have the option to have the same sens for hipfire as it does for each zoom. I'm not talking about the raw sens tho, just talking abt the respective fov scaled sens, for example, a bruiser feels much slower than a 1x or hipfire. We need the option to make it all feel consistent.

They did that because a true 1:1 is WAY too fast so instead they used slowdown to make all sights feel similar without being unreasonably fast

1-2x is probably the best since if you need to shoot someone at long range more precisely then you can just 2x it
