Even though they ended up losing in the Natty this was Syracuses year, the run they had in the tourney was impressive I think after the first round they were underdogs in Vegas the rest of the tourney
No idea how Syracuse won this game, the refs in the first half gave them no calls from the start when Wallace stole the ball clean they call a foul then literally the next possession he gets hammered going for a layup and no call, I was too young to notice at the time but the refs didn’t like Coach B at all and it’s noticeable, his teams didn’t gets calls until he finally won it in 2003
JV? Kentucky had like 4 first rounders on there team (Syracuse had Wallace who worked his way to a first rounder in his senior year that’s it and no one else even got drafted) and they only beat Syracuse by like 8 in the final and it really was a two possession game till the last minute then they had to foul
good old days go cuse then go cuse now
what if UK got MS State in the National Championship Game. . . . . MS State beat UK in the SEC Tournament. . .. .
I loved the alley oops 27:15
Mississippi St. should've won this game except for turnover after turnover. I remember watching it live. SMH.

@@Pokey_413 I thought John Wallace would've been a better pro with the Knicks.

The JV semi-final. 😂. Everbody was just waiting for the UK-UMass game.
Haha As a huge Cuse fan.. no! But yeah, I get what you’re saying. 😂

Actually Syracuse gave Kentucky just as tough a test as UMass
MSU had at least 5 players who went on to play professionally and Bullard who would have if he had not been a straight up criminal.
Embarrassing that this was a national semifinal.
Really!?? Then the teams that "Should have won and advanced" should have manned up and not been "upset"!! Nice take!??🙄🤡
