Love the videos. I am also running with the bow as my main weapon, but i cant seem to decide between rapier or spear. Have you tried the spear? and why did you not opted for that instead of the rapier - for more control, when people do get close to you.
ima give you my worthless opinion, spear was amazing for me at the start but at lvl 60 everyone and their mom has grit alot of the stuns get countered so the rapier is better in alot of the situations for the outplay potential.
I played with the spear on both Betas... Spear is awesome however with Bow you tend to play with light or medium armor and you can be slightly squishy so you need some kind of escape... That's were the Rapier comes in with the FLECHE skill. You use your bow for damage at a distance, they get close to you and either you finished them off with the Rapier quickly or poke and create distance again. I switch to rapier from Spear on launch day and win most of my PVP engagements.
Thanks! It's just timing in all honesty. With some practice, there's like a small window after you shoot the light attack where you can accelerate the penetrating shot.
Yeah that could definitely be a problem lol. I'll have to make a settings guide soon, but the only thing I can think of that I changed was putting all graphics to low. (I'll look tomorrow and update you if I notice anything special)

Should be Starmetal arrows in this one I think. However now I am using the best arrows you can get.

Love your vids! At 2:20 how do you do the light attack cancel into penetrating shot? I’ve tried but there’s always a delay from the normal to pen shot
