Just got back from a very sweet trip with the wife, and I'm about halfway through your book and holy fucking shit dude... this story is so much more than I bargained for. I'm loving it. I really am. it's exciting and I'm hooked. I gotta say, that scene with Slippery Jim threw me off at first bc I despise SA scenes in stories and movies, but Goddamn dude, you set up expectations, the scene and let the reader fill in the rest.... and you pulled it off. What a strange and uneasy relief I felt when Alice finally came to. 10/10 so far.
