- There isn't a real 70mm IMAX in India; most use a digital IMAX. However, recently PVR has opened a few good ones with Laser screens. PVR is believed to have implemented IMAX with laser at their Koramangala screen. This is probably the best IMAX Bengaluru, considering the massive size of the screen, dual 4K, and laser projection. Having visited the IMAX Vega City, I can say the PVR IMAX Koramangala is better in terms of the ambiance, overall visual experience, and sound quality.The Intro of IMAX here is just mind-blowing. We had the opportunity to watch Jurrasic world dominion in PVR IMAX forum Mall, and we were blown away by the spectacular visual treat presented. Of course, ticket prices are on the higher side at any IMAX, including PVR IMAX Bangalore, but I would say it's worth visiting at least once in your life.

I stay just beside forum mall in Koramangala. I watch all marvel movies in IMAX screen only. Have been to 6 out of the 7 IMAX screens in bangalore. I would rate IMAX vega mall as the best IMAX in bangalore. Vega mall one has the biggest screen in bangalore (not a converted like the forum one). Hence the seating and experience is better in Vega mall.

Recently I watched Openheimer in Vega City's IMAX that too just for Rs 150, calling it the most worthy paisa vasool ticket of my life would be an understatement.
One day I will go to New York... Just to experience real IMAX.

Actually, Our Prasad Big screen was the original IMAX format Screen
This isn't the True IMAX Aspect Ratio which is IMAX Digital
Also, many of them are Cheating the Public with the IMAX name they use some different projectors not IMAX Dual laser Projectors coz these projectors cost a hell of a lot
That's the reason why Prasad didn't upgrade it after IMAX went digital

Which movie you watched ( does it shot by IMAX cameras?? Or simple converted to IMAX format ) these things varies experience much.....I watched Cinepolis IMAX and PVR IMAX and there is no difference at all except the seating layout...... I like the PVR VR and Forum seating layout much better than Vega city...
you are absolutely right forum koramangala imax is too dim and gets worse in 3d movies its like brightness is 10/100 booked ticket for Avatar in pr vega city imax is it good ?

What I came to know is IMAX in Mumbai and Delhi have laser projection and upcoming mall in Coimbatore will also have laser projection IMAX

Laser IMAX is upgraded version for the IMAX projector.....only Mumbai and Noida is upgraded till the date.....Rest of all are Xenon Dual Projectors....But coming days, two Laser IMAX theatres are coming to South India ( Coimbatore and Lulu mall Kochi ) Best thing is these two theatres are also having LASER IMAX XT ( little advance ) ......
