Hello, Francesco! The ZED60-14FX does have a built in audio interface, but it will only send two channels via USB for recording. That said, we do sell a number of mixers that have multi-track functionality. Feel free to contact us to talk about some of those options! Thanks for the interest! Hello! Sure, if you want to add a little reverb to the snare or something. Thanks for the interest! Kevin Spunde, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1732, Kevin_Spunde@Sweetwater.com
Brother does it use windows drivers or does it have an Allen and heath driver. I have a zed 10 ATM which only uses windows drivers and to record I have to run my latency buffer at 256 samples and it sounds super delayed while playing real time
Hey, Josh! The A&H Zed 60-14 FX is class compliant. It doesn't need drivers to show up as an interface on your computer. There may be other details that can be tweaked with your system. When you purchase from Sweetwater, we do include free tech support. They may be able to improve the latency you've been experiencing. Give me a call and we can chat about the specifics. Thanks! Hi, Kityan. Thanks for reaching out! Between these two mixers, they are pretty similar, but do have some differences. I wouldn't consider either one greatly better than the other, but to make the best choice would depend on application. Give me a call or send me a message and we can iron out the details to get you the best solution! Rock On! Hi, Eliezer! Thank you for reaching out to us. It should work. However, this is going to depend on quite a few factors. To be 100% sure, I'd love to get in touch with you to iron out all the details. Please reach out to me directly via phone or email! Rock On! Philip Courtney, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1968, philip_courtney@sweetwater.com
@@eliezerg3890 those are "inserts" for adding external effects/compressor/limiter or similar to the master mix. The jack sockets are TRS and have a special internal two-way routing (send/return in each cable), and usually requires trs jack Y-cables. You need to look up how to use inserts on a mixer.
Hey, Tihomir. Thank you very much for watching our UA-cam video. The stereo input jacks on the Allen and heath Zed mixer are unbalanced standard 1/4 inch adapters. They also have the alternate ins on those channels that are RCA or usb, depending on the sources you are looking to connect. If you have any other questions, give us a call here any time. great review i just have a couple of questions i’d like to call but im from germany so here i go: does this mixer allow me to “pre-mix” my song on the mixer and then record the single tracks into my daw with all the effects and than further mix it with more plug ins? thanks in advance
Question: does it allow multitrack recording? So each channel will have their own separate track when you record them together? So let's say, 1 guitar, 2 mics, 1 piano. All of these will have separate tracks when you hit record? So you will end up with 4 tracks after recording?
Hey, Ej. The recording is limited to the stereo buss. There are several options for multi-track mixers now. Give me a call and we'll get you setup with the proper mixer for what you're doing. Mike Godlove, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1355
Hello! It can record in any format your software will allow. Thanks for the interest! Mike Godlove, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1355
Is this DAW compatible? In other words, can I hook this board up to ProTools and use it as an analog console if I assign each channel for the board's input? Will it control the on-screen faders? Can I use the EQ knobs as an analog board? Is there a USB out?
Hi, 24oz pinesolcan. Thanks for watching, and for the question. The ZED60-14FX is a great mixer, but not something that will hook up to ProTools. The USB interface built in is only a 2in/2out format. If you are looking for something that would work well for a mixer/daw control, look at the Presonus StudioLive AR mixers. Feel free to give me a call if you have any other specific questions. Hey, Koro Sound. The Allen and Heath ZED60 can run a left and right main out and one aux out. So you could run your mains and one monitor mix giving you effectively three outputs. The number of speakers would vary though, based on amps you are using and if they are powered or not. If you have any other questions, give us a call. Thanks, Grant Embury, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1647, Grant_embury@Sweetwater.com
First class demo. Thank you. Sounds perfect for my band over here in Belgium.

This is just the mixer, and it can fit any situation. What you ask depends on the PA and speakers
I already have purchased one, my question is what and how do you use the 2 pl input that has mix input. ( 2 pl input underneath the main mix output).
