These desks are ridiculous! We used the QU24 with my old band a few years back - what a time saving piece of genius! So much less crap to lug around to gigs, incredibly fast access to all the features, the ability to save venues into the desk was awesome - once we'd done one detailed sound check we could save it, and sound check for that venue basically became a level check as all the eq hunting was done. So good.
After 100's of gigs in the bag i can say for sure the QU16 is incredible. So easy to use, sounds so great, and all the knobs and controls still feel like new after 1000's of adjustments. If you are looking for a very capable small mixer with 16 mic pre's and 3 stereo channels, 7 auxes, multi track recording its a no brainer.
I need to hire Michael to get mine set up!! im connecting to a new mac Catalina 10.15 and new pro tools...having a hard time figuring out all the routing ..
online someone was saying this provided multi-channels through USB as well as direct to the hard drive, with direct controls through Sonar.. Is this true?
How many tablets can control the monitor sends at the same time? We're a large band (7 members) and everyone would like to be able to control their own monitor mix from the stage.
Great demo, makes me very comfortable upgrading from my mix wizard. That graphic option on the Chanel faders is unreal. Great cross over for someone like me with only analogue experience. Very impressed

We are not talking about the function I want to know what we can do with it I just got qu 16 it so annoying rubbish I wast it now I can’t record voice with it on cubase the stupid mixer is only play music as. Analog mixer have EQ like digital but we still need EQ rack, maximized rack, and crossover if you use subwoofer. Anything is built in. They never compare as outboard. So whatever you do, you always need outboard gear. You never have clarity sound without outboard rack.
Thank you for the excellent demo. I hope SKB or Gator make a custom hard case for the QU-16 and the QU-32. I'm also concerned with the durability of the motorized faders, touch screen, and touch pads.. Aside from that, operation with EQ and FX, monitor mixing, and use with an IPAD looks so simple.
It would be extremely helpful if someone could post a From Plug in for those of us just starting out. I have a QU-16 - Help would be genuinely appreciated - So many of these Self Help Videos assume loads of prior knowledge. :) AIndre
Just sold of my TouchMix and purchased a MixWiz4. I mix from the stage, so these digital boards are not good for that, there is still some layering. You need to adjust on the fly, so analog is the way to go, at least for me, had the digital board, it beat me up for mixing on stage. Now for a sound guy/gal, it is no problem ,but these are not user friendly for playing and stage mix, but these are great boards

love it. love the motorized faders. does it have an exciter? can you expand it to 8 channels of effects? is there an effects list somewhere on line?
they could put hibrid imputs xlr/jack and put inserts with that space, but is a good idea for a mkII or not so?
do you have mastering functions? final compression to 2 master outs which u record ?

it should be just one tablet. because this feature is not suitable for the musicians on stage.

This PA unit is really easy to use i use one and i learnt it in an hour
