Latin Mass Wedding Guide, if anyone needs it.
Processional: Bride processes in.
Vows: Up front and center. (English.)
Mass: (Latin)
1. For most of Mass, the priest will face the altar, with only his back visible, unless otherwise indicated with *.
2. In general, if you hear music, you are free to move discreetly. If you do not hear music, make sure you aren't at the consecration. (Letter i in the outline.)
3. Basic, not-exhaustive outline:
a. Vesting. ///During a Nuptial Mass///, this is usually within the sanctuary, i.e. near where the priest sits. (Priest puts on vestments.)
b. 1:20. Prayers at the foot of the altar. (Priest and servers bowing at some points.)
c. 3:58. Priest may use incense. Prayers at the altar, including readings (10:25). (Priest standing.) Priest will move from the center of the altar, to the right side of the altar (10:25), to the left side of the altar. (16:15)
*d. *Sermon. (20:37.) It will be a longer sermon, almost certainly.
*e. *Prayers at altar. (21:25) First part of chant is intoned by priest. At a handful of points, the priest will turn around very briefly to say the first words of one of the prayers aloud.
f. Priest incenses the altar. (23:51) Note that members of the sanctuary are incensed as well, before those in the nave (the people in the pews) are incensed. (26:50.)
g. Priest intones an important prayer. (27:28.)
h. After this, eventually bells ring (29:35). Get in position for what follows. This is a particularly sensitive and delicate moment. ////Once discreetly in position, please do not move around unnecessarily until after both host and chalice have been elevated and the priest genuflects (kneels briefly) a final time.////
i. Quicker than you expect: (32:05-37.) Consecration, with elevation of host. This will be from the center of the altar, with the priest facing away. This is often a key moment to photograph. After the bells, the priest bends low, genuflects, raises the host, and genuflects (kneels briefly.) For each of these three moments, the bells will ring again. This is repeated with the chalice.
j. Several hymns follow, including Agnus Dei. (38:00.)
*k. *Still at the center of the altar, the priest turns around (40:51), saying "Ecce Agnus Dei ..." (41:04) Bells are rung. This is a whole prayer. This is the second key moment to photograph when photographing a Mass.
*l. *Communion, (41:28). Bride and groom will recieve almost immediately, kneeling and on the tongue, from the priest. Then, others will recieve holy communion.
l. Postcommunion. Priest cleans chalice, says prayers. (42:27.)
*m. *Ite Missa Est (45:35), Blessing (46:00), The Last Gospel (46:14). When all stand for the last Gospel, at one moment people will genuflect (kneel briefly), at the leadership of the priest. (It's for a particular verse.) This is not necessary to photograph, but it will happen.
*n. *Priest and servers may process out now, or as part of the bridal party recessional. (Unknown.)
Flowers: Right side of sanctuary. Bride and groom will leave flowers at the right side of the sanctuary by the image (statue) of St. Mary. (She's the one in blue.)
Recessional: Bridal Party processes out.

That was awesome. I attend Holy Catholic Anglican Rite and we have high mass every time, but this was a whole other level. Very powerful.

Is this not from the pre-Novus Ordo's (red) Missal? I wouldn't know for sure, as I am 64 years old, and a convert.
But I'm pretty sure, this ancient manner of worship commonly known as the Traditional Latin Rite, is only celebrated in a few dioceses, of which, i've had the honor to participate only once before, in a different state (Kansas).
Because my current priest is of no particular Order, I am astonished by his Celebration under the old guard this Saturday. I mean: He never ceases to stun and amaze me.
Why does the master of ceremonies not receive the Eucharist?
Why are the servers wearing shoulder capes the whole time? Is it freezing cold in the church or something?
It's called a pellegrina, it's a clerical vestment that may not be the custom in some places, it is more common for bishops to wear them, though lesser ranking clerics and lay altar servers can wear it as well, usually in the context of a ceremony or in solemn feast days.
The servers are wearing mozzettas, not because it is cold, but rather because it is a symbol of the vows they have professed. Those black shoulder capes (mozzettas) are a symbol of the burden of the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience which they profess as religious.

From Pope Benedict XVl to the SSPX the Mass is not about the priest, it is not about the people, It is about Jesus Christ, the Mass is a Divine act and not a human act. This video shows the glory and splendor of Christ's Sacrifice. Vatican ll erred when it remade the Mass as being all about the people. Christ's sacrifice is very, very little spoken about when it comes to Holy Mass. Thus a great loss of faith. May God and Our Lady who crushed the head of the serpent, intervene in Francis plot to eliminate Quo Primum of St. Pope Pius V.
Can you have a High Mass WITHOUT incense?? In any case, this isn't a High Mass it's a Solemn Mass. You need a deacon and a subdeacon for a HM. (Sorry for being pedantic...)
You need the deacon and subdeacon for it to be a Solemn High Mass. This is High Mass with Incense. Then there’s obviously low mass
You're correct, Colin. It is NOT a High Mass as there are not three sacred ministers. It's a Solemn Mass - when there is, inevitably, incense. So the link description is wrong.
@@barryspurr9577 High mass and Low mass were never the official term to describe mass. The official name is Missa Privata which people nowadays usually call it as Low Mass, and then there is Missa Cantata or the Sung Mass/High Mass with incense as optional, served by only Priest with no other Sacred Ministers (Subdeacon and Deacon), and then the highest form is Missa Solemnis which people usually call it as Solemn High Mass, served by Priest and his Sacred Ministers with incense as a mandatory. The last one will be the most highest form in Latin Rite which is Missa Solemnis Pontificalis, which we usually call it as the Pontifical Solemn High Mass, celebrated by a Pontiff with his Sacred Ministers.
@@barryspurr9577 What makes the High Mass different from Solemn High Mass is not the incense. The solemn form requiring all three Sacred Ministers (Priest, Deacon, and Subdeacon) to be present. Otherwise, it will be only High Mass even if the incense is used.
@@chris22capt I didn't say that. I simply said that a High Mass requires three sacred ministers. Incense can, of course, be used at Mass with just a single celebrant, as at a Missa Cantata.
I've been studying Latin, not very hard. I am tired of new age communist parishes
