- The Robeson County Sheriff's Office released new findings, including the 911 call, in the death investigation of 30-year-old Mica Miller, of Myrtle Beach. Miller died by suicide on April 27 at Lumber River State Park. According to Robeson County Medical Examiner Dr. Richard Johnson, Miller died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder from 25 y/o to 32. I was put on lithium after the constant abuse of a narcissist ex and boss. I advocated for myself and I don't have bipolar. I have ADHD.
I remember my ex was happy to take me to therapy and chug lithium and olanzapine (antipsichotic) to "make me softer and calmer" of course he wanted that, he wanted me confused and seem crazy.
I remember he even convinced my mother to put me back on the bipolar meds when I started to see right through the abuse and manipulation.
I almost married this man.. but like Mica, I looked for help, broke it off and did a lot of reading and self work. I AM now thriving, on the right meds and right diagnosis.
It pains me to know and learn about this case because it hits SO close to home. not a lot of people (specially women) have the energy or resources to get out of that situation. It drains you mentally, emotionally and financially. If you are a person going through something similar please find help, you deserve a love that makes you feel free and safe.
My parents did it to me @ 21. Dx'd BIPOLAR. Medicated, marginalized, hospitalized ..shut up ad shut down...
I finally figured out what was wrong with me @ 55 yrs old... Bipolar never felt right and all the counseling a d needs never did a damned thing to really help.
It was CPTSD all along from Narcissistic abuse and severe neglect by my parents. My father in particular.
It's been 4 years since leaving my Narc husband ( who was actually married to another woman, kids etc the whole time 18 yrs, just like my dad!! Can you believe how life just keeps giving you something till you get it?? ) on death's door. It's been rough. Every day is a trip. Always will be.
But about 18 months after figuring out about Narcissism and CPTSD and just got down to work re-regulating and reprogramming myself, learning ALL I could, I started to feel great
After 42 yrs of BP and I thought I was going absolutely literally crazy after 18 years and getting out of that marriage. I was hearing voices losing time, full delusions...scary stuff...18 months later I started really seeing the light and feeling good.
But right now I am sobbing in gratitude because I WAS MIca, over and over, but I'm still here...So sad for her. This one was a💩🎶🎶super piece of it!!!
Antidepressants can be a way to get by if we have to. I had mild one for a short time. It really didn't help much because I had a lousy therapist who thought I didn't have real problems.
I did but she didn't have real solutions. I actually ended up in church counseling, which actually worked a lot better. Not what I expected, but some churches do things better than others. They're all different.
Oh wow I thought I was reading something I wrote! I was also misdiagnosed with bipolar, I didn’t agree with the diagnoses, but I was dosed up on lithium for years and other antipsychotics and was like a zombie for years. I was suicidal by the end. It was adhd like you and I was diagnosed at 49. How can these people get it so wrong and when you do not respond to these drugs and you haven’t cycled at all, from mania to depression, just stayed depressed there is something wrong. It was a nightmare, I can’t imagine having a partner that was so horrible as well, my husband wasn’t supportive either but not narcissistic, that’s a lot to go through and I’m really sorry you were not heard. I hope you are doing better now. ❤

I feel everything You said from the psychosis, feeling crazy, feeling empty, lost, confused. You are a warrior! @@KiwikimNZ I'm so sorry :( I really felt what you said! I came across a book called DOING HARM is about how medicine and science has failed women for decades. It's important we listen to oir bodies and advocate for yourself 🩵 I tried everything under the sun, olanzapine, lithium, prozac, paxil, lexapro, amitriptiline, tegretol, gabapentine... The list goes on. I live in a third world country and I don't need a prescription for psych meds so I (with the help of My Best friend and aunt who are doctora) weened myself of all of them and started to take Wellbutrin and modafinil, once I got the full ADHD test results of combined ADHD (mind You after 2 years of requesting this from My therapist - a man) I got my results and now take wellbutrin and ritalin. Life has changed so drastically in 3 months that all I wanna do now is help others going through the same. Narcissistic abuse will have you in for weekly therapy, 3 different chabges on medications and 40 pounds more in a year! That's what happened to me, and I almost married a men full of debt and didnt take care of his diabetes. I was one heart attack from him leaving me alone with those bills and shattered selfsteem and self love. Never looking back!!
She met him in 2010 when she was 14. Her sister verified that.

It is possible that media outlets might have heard her referring to 2010 (and a reporter taking short hand notes might've wrote '10 .... which later reporters probably broadcasted as age 10 instead of the year 2010)....

@@kmk6942069 I believe her sisters said something to similar to that or was asked and that’s why she verified that she was 14 in 2010. I think they barely started going to that church around that time. I’m not sure finished her father correctly. He was interviewed on the UA-cam channel called “the sidebar”.

It's a well known tactic but I guess the police aren't aware. They also didn't think a tracker on her car is called stalking. She feared for her life and the police said "until he does something, there's nothing we can do". We'll, he's done a lot of somethings and now it's too late. I thought things were getting better for DV victims but its not. I remember being told I was afraid for my life and the police said they could arrest him but he would get released in a few hours. So, that wasn't a good scenario. Once you take the step 8f leaving, you've got to go where they can't find you because leaving them is not allowed and they will go to any lengths necessary to keep control. I'm so angry. Rest easy Mica, you don't have to fight anymore.💜

If she had filed for divorce why was he able to decide if she were to be cremated? Her family should have been able to make a decision of what to do with her remains. He wanted the evidence gone for sure. Hopefully they have pictures of her body.

I've thought the same and why fill her car up was and why did she call in fear of her life and someone said on Facebook that his attorney was an ITT expert and was part of the call AI

When people aren't thinking straight and not in the right frame of mind they can do things that completely don't make sense to people that are in a normal frame of mind. Also she probably was kneeling at the edge of the bank and crying when she killed herself makes sense for her to fall into the water and get drifted along.
She put her ID in a ziploc to make sure she could be identified. Being by the water is something she read online, I guarantee it. Suicide "tip" sites have suggestions like that for the rare instances that people survive a gunshot or poisoning but are incapacitated. The water is there to make sure she drowns if the shot wasn't fatal.

And The fact that she pawned some jewelry and purchased the gun and that’s the gun used by her then yes she definitely did unalive herself. Mica buys gas at 1:27pm 33 miles from the state park, but doesn’t call 911 until 2:54pm. That’s a lot of time between the two…87 minutes to be exact…87 minutes to make a 40 minute drive? What else happened to Mica during that time? Who else heard the gunshot? And why did the witness say he only heard one when multiple bullets were found?

I don’t know about the rest of it, but the length of time for a person killing themselves isn’t problematic. She could have been having second thoughts or just sitting and thinking etc.
Since he had a tracker on her car, maybe he knew she stopped at a pawn shop and bought a gun (for her own protection), followed her to the park, and made her call 911. Then he shot her? Her 911 call sounds forced and not like a person who is about to commit suicide. I do not have all the details, but she stopped to buy gas (did she fill her tank full?) and a drink. She appeared in good form and smiling when she purchased the gun. Maybe those questions have already been addressed, but I will research further.
This is what I believe and possibly part of the call was AI and she was in fear of her life and I dated a narcissist they try to make you think you're crazy because they gaslight you and the only way to catch them is to record them and keep it and svoternshot their lies and I'm a fighter but I didn't know what a narcissist was until friends even out eating heard his narcissistic rage's and now I'm called by God to try to help others and I will try

In my opinion SC is lawless! I was screwed badly by an attorney "I didn't hire'" she told me she was going to damage me badly and she did as she stated !! I tried complaining to the BAR in SC to no avail! And all of this started over an incident done by a NC attorney ..so I was shocked and my assumption was they worked together behind the scenes and I feel they profited from the incident which the end result was I lost my 29 year old son!! I contacted NC BAR as well to no avail! So I moved away from the Carolinas that I loved! Prayers for Micas family! These good ole boys in county government & city municipalities need better training "in my opinion" and I know the saying !!

I live in Columbus County and my ex husband was a lt with the sheriff's office and my boys (two youngest) had things to say he did and I wasn't allowed to file a report. Also the sheriff told me he didn't care and not the sheriff now serving and he wasn't made to pay child support for 2 years and 10 months so yes it's as crooked as can be and I'm sorry for what happened to you. I've also thought about moving but that was 18 years ago and I'm still here among the corruption

It saddens me to yet again see a case where the death is chalked up to a mental health disorder. Before you diagnose someone, look closely at who they are surrounded by.
Look very close, because psychopaths are very hard to see for what they are, often the case with narcissists too. They will make the victim look like the crazy one, and of course the victim will be acting crazy because that is the only coping mechanism they have left to deal with the situation. They speak up along the way, but when no one is listening the next step is 'potentially' suicide. Then the abuser justifies it with 'mental illness'. I can easily say this from personal experience. And to my now wise and much older self this husband of hers gives me the absolute creeps!
Everyone thinking she did it is delusional. This man groomed her, manipulated her into thinking she wanted to marry him. Shortly after they married he became shady and she found out some horrific things about this church and him. She was fleeing and he was able to delete her and make it seem like it was self inflicted. Where are all the Christian’s saying she couldn’t have done this to herself because she loved the Lord? Someone can love the Lord and struggle with mental health issues. Yes, her husband provoked her mental health symptoms, but she did k!l1 herself. There are videos coming out showing it's easy even for an amateur to make an AI. One guy made one that sounded just like the 911 call. JP Miller has a lawyer friend who owns a lot of land next to the stat park and he is also an expert at AI.

This is such a purplexing case but if anyone personally knows how certain people were right before they killed themselves, would admit that the person had already condemned themselves and that any objective amount of resistance from sources around them would be played to the side. Even in some cases the person will purposefully lie to family and friends already having the quite serious intent on believing things are better off without them here. It is a sad reality, but even tho the Husband seems heartless, it also seems like legitimate solace that the wife had succumbed to the mental illness that she had suffered from all those yrs. Idk but it’s seeming to weigh out to me. Of course in today’s outlook the husband is the first obvious answer but that’s the PROBLEM, we live in a society where anything is possible. There is an interview with Micas best friend on another youtube channel and she said that JP her husband had been misusing church funds and trying to set her up for that also.

After she died he used her social accounts to post things, and possibly always had her account passwords etc. Very controlling guy.

I grew up in this church and was there when Mica and John Paul had first announced they were together. He saw her grow up in that church and I would not have been surprised at all if he did groom her. He actually had married her to her first husband in that church (I was there doing the proposal). And I was there when he announced that he had been cheating on his long time wife with Mica. Mica was only 19 at the time. He was twice her age. He might not have killed her but he definitely fucked her up in some regard.

It's very possible that Mica was implying that she really was, in fear of taking her own life. If she didn't give more explanation regarding that statement, it's possible she really did commit suicide.
A cheating or other wise romantically involved Pastor husband would be devastating.

No only was he triggered that she was leaving, but she was talking in social media.
I agree we need to record our feelings and thoughts 🙏🏼🙏🏼 but send it to friends and family. It was hurting his ego to hear her starting to heal and feel liberated.
Sometimes we think we are never going to be able to leave a certain relationship, so we don't decord anything, we hardly talk to family members about what's going on... I just have an advice "record, record, record evidence" even if you are not thinking going go the police. Even if you finally leave and don't have to use it. Do it just in case.

The fact that there was a tracking device on her car, who bought it?? Who slashed her tires must be someone mad her… so if her husband is tired and his gf too, then one of them is to be checked out! I think when she made that call she was told to say that. If not the husband , is it the gf or did she paid someone to do that? He should of asked the doctors to change her medicines bcozcof the side effects, but that wouldn’t make her pull $ before going! Someone wanted more money.
No one knows what happened speculation, rumor, and gossip. I'm a 70's veteran one of the 1% who served in our military and have seen things I could not unsee until Christ took them away, He says to find someone guilty you have to have witnesses. We live in a very fallen world I know I have seen it up close, trust in Christ justice is going to reign, the King will make sure of that. Blessings and prayers to the grieved.

My question is why didn’t Mica tell someone that he was grooming her? She was young and he knew better I just don’t understand why she didn’t tell a friend,auntie,uncle or her Mom or Dad? I think they both had mental health issues. If their paths would have never crossed she would still be alive.

I am curious about the bipolar and if that is verified. I witnessed a family member constantly lie about their spouse and yell abuse and affairs and drunk when she was the abusive one. I don't take anything at face value after that. I will wait for more evidence before having an opinion one way or the other.

I would investigate the one who found her . Definitely see if he knows micas husband. The way she sounded in the 911 call literally seemed like she was told what to say. I hear “want my family to find me” so without emotion like reading a paper. This is very unnerving. Prayers that justice will be served for the evil doer who brought harm to her in every way! I’d be curious in regards to other facts such as certain text messages and stalking if maybe there wasn’t really bi polar but reactions due to long term narcissistic abuse and trauma since she met her husband when still a young teen. That 911 call doesn't sound like the way she talks if you listen closely. This is 2024 and especially down here in the south are stories all over the car radio about the crazy things have been doing with AI voice over the past 2 years. How do we know that it is not an AI generated 911 call? If it is somehow real, then it must be under duress.

He really pushing the she's mentally ill narrative but why was she having mental issues. I dont think her mental health was as bad as he Made Her and Everyone else think it was. He was the cause of her problems. He should be charged with putting the tracker on her car at the very least
So sad, she was obviously loved by many. I feel so bad for the guy that sold her the gun- u know hes questioning what he does for a living but i hope he knows hes essential for our survival as "free men and women" who will never have to fight their own government. poor guy, hope he knows how many lives he's helped protect vs this one person who chose to use it for her own harm. On another note theres a father who saved his whole family from sumone who totally meant them harm and found himself dead on the lawn.
There is documented mental illness, she suffered from something- bipolar who knows, the fact is that there was something going on, and whether or not this was taken advantage of is the question. She was so young when they met so who knows how much mind play there was there, I would guess a lot.
He most likely has the skill to be convincing, manipulative and persuasive. People in leadership roles have these skills and type A personality. She was definitely not as strong minded.
Based on the timeline, she was never seen with anyone, there is no evidence that anyone was with her, and the 911 call she made was clear that she wanted her family to be able to find her, if she was abducted or forced I do not believe she would have had the opportunity to do that, nor do I believe if someone else was going to pull the trigger they would have not wanted her found, as much true crime as I watch they always hide the crime as long as they can. 98% of the time, the story is that they left, and they end up reporting them "missing"- I do believe that she took her own life and there are multiple factors that played a role. Hopefully, the investigation will uncover all the facts. Such a tragic thing to happen.
