I am a retired Honda auto tech who never did body work. I think this is my favorite UA-cam channel, I really enjoy watching you pull twisted metal back into alignment and making everything back close to original. The old poor translations to English were kind of charming but the English in this video was very good!
Good afternoon Arthur, what a repair. You saved everything accept the sound of the crash impact. Once again you get to work on the high dollar BMW's. Your welding skills are impressive. We use our dent spotter everyday. You are definitely making a positive impression on your subscribers. Sending you those Mo-clamps was very generous. Thanks again for the great Sunday afternoon video. You take care and have a good week.
@@radjadji I would speculate that they are from different manufacturers and suppliers. I have the same variation of dent keys with our spotter. Hope this helps.
Another great video Arthur. You are the best. It always amazes me how you can work metal and make it come out so straight and perfectly aligned. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. 🙂 👍🏻👍🏻
@@crownvicca New lead free body solder is used on high end vehicles. Not sure if Arthur was using that product. That said, I am not aware of lead for body work being banded in the USA.That said, I can think a few States would likely not allow its use. I don't know about Canada. Health requirements would preclude lead's use in most if not all shops.
Just when I thought I had seen all of your skills, you pull out tinning and lead wiping, I haven't seen that in years and truly shows what an elite repairer you are. LEGEND!.

Hi Arthur . Another old school repair, lovelly job,, It's funny how your customer seems to supply the easy bolt on similar colour bits and not the " A "pillar to make life easy nice lead work, now many panels too thin, & chemically coated,, just to make life more difficult. Well done.!
This is the 3rd video where the lead and wiping blocks have come out. What's with the change of heart? I can't remember when I last saw lead work and wiping blocks. Well done.
you are an amazing skilled craftsman mate. please be careful with that lead and wiping, make sure you have good ventilation bud. all done in record time. would have been easier to replace some of that metal instead of having to repair like you did. still awesome.
I noticed alot of comments on the topic of him using lead. I believe he's using a lead free body solder! Because it wouldn't make sense that he would be sanding lead without a respirator.

Can I just ask, what is the difference between those copper looking spotter attachments and the metal(silver) ones he used?

Another fantastic video using old school lead instead of Bondo. Thank you Arthur!
I thought he said TIN, is it the same thing, and does it not rust?
@@radjadji he tinned it before applying lead with wooden paddle
Was thinking the same thing re: lead. Getting back to the old school ways.
I am guessing this would be prohibited in North America?

hi arthur, brilliant video but please be careful with lead it is silent killer,do not use orbital on it because of dust, thanks
Ok, thanks
I think it is pure Tin (alavas) without Lead. Am i wrong?
It is Tin not lead.
Won't the Tin rust quicker, asking for tips?

Arthur you make it look so easy. Warning don't try this at home, it isn't that easy.
Another curiosity: I see you use two keys to tight and untight the clamps. Why not a small dab of solder in the screw and use just one key?
Maybe, but it's not difficult for me.
