This is phenomenal. Im so heartbroken about learning about what happened to both of them, the soft moon was a unique and instant inspiration and comfort for me back in late 2023.
Lately I've been obssessed with Dying Flowers from your album Motion Picture Regime, and the first part of this, to me, has the same terrifying yet deep and emotional core surrounded with a techno/rave like beat that just pulses and makes my heart beat. It feels cinematic, and it makes my soul writhe with feelings and ideas. And as an artist, there's nothing better, so thanks for fuelling my creativity I hope I can catch a concert from you one day
Electronic music isn't my forte, so I admittedly didn't know of these 2 artists. I'll definitely be checking them out, and if this release is anything to hint at what I'm to expect -- I'm in for a treat. R.I.P.
This is the only release from you that I wouldn't immediately recognize as Filmmaker.. Well the first part that is... It's new, it's risky, but fuck I do like it!! The second part has all the ingredients I recognize you from, but it's still somehow fresh and surprising.. All together I fucking love it, and I fucking love you!!! But when are you coming to Finland??? FFS!!!
Maybe because I’ve recorded them as tribute tracks rather than a Filmmaker album. I hope Finland show results on the upcoming tour. Thanks for the feedback!
Like all your releases but this one has a certain prismatic darkness that makes it enchanting in a different way. Coming from atmo black metal I like this experimental long track time, very immersive as if I’m navigating something foreign.
