Another great video the conditions weren't the best but the fishing made it all worth while. I also lost a jewfish the other week on the jackall spat the hooks. Was a great fight im hungry for more. Clever fish those headshakes are a amazing feeling thru the rod.
Mate it def burns when u lose one gets u so keen to hook up again 😂 its too addictive. Hopefully next trip u get on again. An the conditions were awful seems to b a regular these days.

Fished the exact spot you were in today. 7 flathead. 50cm tailor plus the usual other species Also got hold of an eagle ray that we had to chase all over the lake for ages. Was hard finding good bait that was being worked. Great video
I once hooked an eagle ray near the outlet on a live 30cm bream that was out for sharks. The thing was 7ft across an went like the clappers. Then when it got tierd it just sat on the bottom 😂 awesome fun but. An yer theres plenty of decent size tailor there atm had 1 bite off a transam 😩 i went out this morning an had a similar day so cant complain 👍
@@Lowysfishing funny I called it for a king for a while then I saw it jump. Seeing you catch a king in the exact spot my wrong guess wasn't too stupid of a guess haha
Hey Reg, been really busy at work this year so far. Plus the minnkota needed fixing. At least with the money from work i got it all sorted and hit the water today finally. Just working in the editing now will be good to go tomorrow night mate fingers crossed. Hope your catching some fish mate 👍

I was happy mate i was definitely worried id have to wait until after xmas. It was so good getting back out there iv bn a bit sick so not much energy today. The jewfish seem to follow me so thats a bonus 😊 see u out there mate 👍

Hey Eddie, I run 2 setups pretty similar. Both 16lb braid but one has 16lb leader the other has 20lb an that seems to work fine. I never notice that 1 gets more than the other either an i still get bream an other small species on them aswell 👍
I was just watching your video and you were banging on about not using lip grips and wetting the brag mat which is all fine. But if you’re so worried about the f fish why catch them in the first place and not leave them alone to be fish. Surely a hook in the mouth and being out of the water isn’t amazing for them. I love fishing so I am Curious about what that video was about
All fisherman mate fish for either food or sport. I do both but enjoy catch an release. If u would prefer i can kill all the fish i get ? Cows probably dont like getting milked either nor any other animals smelling all the polution in the air so i hope u dont drive a car or drink milk an a thousand other things i could name if u want to get picky. Just saying 🤷♂️an if u dont like catch an release dont watch the videos. Simple.
