He is acting like it is impossible to pose goblin on the glider when other people like spider criminal did it and got him into the same pose as the poster for spiderman 1😅 not hating on just pointing out that you can do a lot with the marvel legend then him just standing there
It isn't as bad as everybody's making it. I personally love it but if it had a calf or thigh swivel it would have took this figure over the moon, oh and a forearm swivel! The ankle joint saves it, so you can do some fun things. One of my favorite figures ever but I love Willem Dafoe
No its not. He was pulled from the universe seen in the Sam Ramis Spiderman. There's a whole movies worth of Green Goblin footage showing his neck covered.
15:57 this type of joint is usually referred to as a dropdown joint also I love that thigh swivel type joint, it reminds me of how figuarts make their thigh joints
I don't believe the 'potbelly' was deliberate. More likely a sculpting mistake due to the multiple detail levels applied to the figure and the part separation process from 3d model to plastic form. It shouldn't happen though and nowhere on the box art is implied that Goblin is anything but slim.
for the price it would've been, so much better if they did a two-pack that came with the same amount of accessories, but instead, included an alt body of the 2004 green goblin suit before the final upgrade along with the nwh suit.
Here’s my few problems. I wish the scale was better. At least in height, not just for goblin, but the whole line. Also the head, I would have actually preferred a goggled head sculpt in stead of just a pair of goggles. Also at least two extra fists. But that’s honestly about it for me. Figure still good overall.
The only reason i can think of that everyone says the ML is better is that the Norman head has no mustache and the Figurearts one has a mustache and it doesn't even bother me he has the stache
He's pretty good to me but I know it's not 100% perfect. I bet we got this ragged suit and not the more pristine one because Hasbro knows the more desirable version would make this needless if it came out first instead of this. I'm find with this rather than getting the Figuarts version.
stripped him of all accessories and paint, 3d printed a collar to cover the neck and it looks so cool, perfectly sufficient for a Raimi display alongside Doc Ock
Honestly yes we’re gassing it. It doesn’t look very high quality in my opinion. I’ve just been pretty disenchanted with legends for a couple years in general. I’ll be much happier with the sh figuarts
@@robertmusgrove4537 yeah, and paying close to 200 for barely any accessories. ML has more value for your money, and is actually good for what you get at 1/3 or 1/4 of the SHF price.
@@robertmusgrove4537 the 5 o’clock shadow vibe doesn’t bother me that bad, regardless it would take 30 minutes to fix that, you can’t fix the cheap plastic feel and lack of articulation on the legends figure
Definitely want to get him, but with people buying him out so quick and then others selling the fig for $70+, it poses a problem, lol. I very rarely (super heavy on the rarely) have the luxery of buying things for myself 🤦🏽♂️.
With the figuarts figure a guy could purchase an aftermarket headsculpt pretty easily, or even better, touch up the paint in a half hour, but With the legends figure a guy can’t just turn PVC plastic into ABS plastic. Or make the terrible gummy ratcheted Hasbro joints feel nice to move. One may cost more, but I would actually care to play with it, whereas the legends is just lacking major things like shin swivel, toe articulation, and proper head/neck articulation and I’d never wanna touch it or pose it. I’d rather pay $150 for something of value than pay $50 for Hasbro junk
Figure arts get way too much hate when it comes to marvel and DC stuff. 150 is on a higher end of their figures but they're not really that expensive. If you think about it. These days most of us will go out and spend $70 for a video game that you only play for a month to a year. And all of the head sculpt from that wave look like they came from the what if show
@@isaiahtr videos games & toys is a horrible comparison lol & logically it’s NOT helping your case. There’s nothing wrong with buying imports, However SHF Goblin is nearing/entering Hot Toys prices. The figure is great, but people acting as if ML goblin is a terrible figure…. Yea it’s corny lol. They are both great figures with slight flaws.
@@Anonymous.Throne Let me clarify it so you can understand an average SH figure arts can run you from $34 to $100. Lots of people complain about not being able to afford imports. If you cannot afford your necessities like bills, shelter, food, that a different story. But I can guarantee you 50 to 70% of the people complaining about the prices of imports spend their money on other hobbies. So with that being said logically most people will not be able to afford imports if they buy every AAA game that comes out. Just like you probably won't be able to buy games if you buy every pair of Jordans that come out. Plus, it is commonly known that most Americans do not know how to budget. I'll do you one better than Have you seen how much people spend on fast food alone, There's your green goblin
It the usual conversation. Marvel legends = not great. Then figures 3 times the price are only slightly better if at all. Plus legends give us way more characters beyond the main character everyone else is doing to triple the price

A good GG version from Hasbro needs to be point out, there is a lot of trash on that history, even the Tony Stark head from Hasbro was bad news, because he wasn't in scale with any other figure.

I find it stupid that ML gave us a Stand while the more expensive Figuarts doesn't even come with it.

I think the facial expression on the Figuarts is a pretty big factor too. Like it comes with two heads and neither of them have the menacing grin.
@@gianferrer1289 That's also true

Yeah the ankles suck pretty bad. What I did was grab the ankle joints of a McFarlane skull trooper and added them to the green goblin
