Now would that one legendary ship battle that has two ships allow you to somehow control both ships at once? Or would you be in control of one and the other kinda just follows you around?

I just wish you were able to change ships and customise them. I'd have been more than happy with a frigate. I just felt the Jackdaw was too small considering who she went up against.
I believe that was the point in terms of story.
The Jackdaw was legendary because she went against superior odds and came out of it with crew alive.
It's my understanding that the Jackdaw was actually on the larger end of the scale for pirate ships. In general, pirates preferred smaller, faster ships. Frigates and galleons were rare. If I remember right, Kenway even joked about "Is mine bigger than yours?"
That said, it would have been awesome in the game to switch between ship types for different purposes but being able to sail a man 'o war might have been OP, especially if you could upgrade it like the Jackdaw.
Yeah you would be unstoppable playing as that one ship that rams with the intense speed.
@@177SCmaro oh couldn't agree more. A man o war would be far too big. And yes your totally right that they did proffer faster and smaller ships, i would have just liked the option for the game.

To this day I still say it's a shame you couldn't add Legendary Ships to your fleet
not even add them to ur fleet imagine if u could switch ships to any ship even a schooner or the little gunships
Would sure be more rewarding than the one you do get. 20k reales apiece is nice, but it would be nice with a little extra.
This will never get old, also with all the new mods in nexus for AC, content for days :)

I wish you could rematch these majestic vessels. Without the reward of course, but the challenge is a reward enough. Also, who else loves that ominous hollow sound when one of the two sister ships or El Impoluto get close to you? Gives me the chills every time.

HMS Prince was tired of being the easiest legendary ship so she decided to take revenge and remind everyone why she's a "ghost ship"

Really impractical for a pirate ship. Even the Jackdaw is a little large for what pirates would normally use.

I miss being a kid and going up against my first legendary ship
I remembered running into El Impoluto as the first legendary ship. I had a almost complete elite jackdaw to beat her. Last time I ever got so physically aggressive of beating such a thing. She was the last of the four to go down. And the satisfaction was very rewarding.
The HMS Fearless and Royals Sovereign, were the hardest legendairy ships to beat. I took the others down pretty easy, but those two were very hard.

I actually had the opposite with the brothers in arms,
The hardest for me was the El’ Impoluto
For me, the sweatiest ship was La Dame Negra, her long-range mortars made maneuvering very difficult, and the onboard guns took away the health of the Jackdaw very well. It was easier for me to fight with other legendary ships.
Those two were just two level 60 man o wars, just dont get sandwiched and its pretty easy. La dama negra was just go to the back and not get killed. Hms prince was pretty easy. El Impoluto i barely managed to kill after a storm killed it for me after getting it down to barely any health, nearly killed me since it was pretty much facing the jackdaw on roids
They should've given the hms prince the skeleton crew from the cheats
El Impoluto is like the fastest ship in game, most turnable ship in game and with most terrible attacks in game :< PURE DEMON!
Yeah, I'm with you guys when it comes to the jackdaw as your only usable ship when you literally owned a fleet of different types of ships. I always wanted to play as a galleon or a frigate.

I'll never forget the terrifying moment when I first fought El Impoluto. I already killed 3 of the ships at this point and I was horrified when instead of going broadside and firing it charged right at me at full speed. Chunked my Jackdaw to half health with a single attack. It's the only legendary ship that actually killed me the first time. I miss these games.
El impoluto was indeed a beast, it was so fast and mostly did damage by ramming🥶🥶
I think HMS Prince was the easiest legendary ship to take down in this game.

Nothing will ever hit right as the time I beat storm fortress first try, 3 legendary ships, one lil ol dinky morrigan, and a lot of avoiding being on any of their broadsides

I wish that for every legendary ship the jackdaw gets a ability kinda like mega man like for example if u defeat legendary ship on the
north west st side it makes
the jackdaw faster
Then get the uprated ram
Then on the north east side legendary ship u get
the ability to shoot cannons further away, increase in number e.g frigate
and also u get the ability to call your other ships to give u a hand from kenways fleet
Then on the south east side u get an ability to shoot mortars like a man o war an increase of damage from the mortars
Then on the south west u get an ability of amor e.g every time u brace ur selves it equips metal armor on the sides just like the south west legendary ship
This would be dope asf

Done this and my strategy was mortars for long range, broadsides with the cannons and then fire barrels for running away shitting myself.
I hope for the remaster to allow us to use the legendary ships after we defeat them, imagine attacking forts while using el impolunto while blasting bismark, the memes would be legendary

It feels nostalgic though the only way for me to sink the legendary ship is to swim to their ship and kill every crew.
The only ones I struggled with were the two ones since my strategy was just ram the ship shoot cannons at it until it was dead and it worked until I had to deal with two and then when you sink one the next just charges at you twice your speed.
how to use this mod? in the note description, it must unlock all the 5 ships first. what does it mean? we must defeat it or just visit and go?

I will say La Dama Negra is powerful but El Impoluto has the most health, has a ram that can take a full health bar away, is fast af, and it's broadsides are so devastating. And you do make a good point about the armor but still.
