I brought a few rather sizeable pieces of Lapis home from Afghanistan and during covid lockdowns, a friend-of-a-friend who was a jeweler created some magnificent links for me out of one of the pieces of lapis and some lovely silver.

I'm gradually changing all my shirts from barrel cuffs to french cuffs as I like cufflinks so much.

Thank you for bring us this as a topic for discussion. A double / French cuff shirt always elevates the look of a suit, blazer, or sports jacket. Back in the 1980s and 1990s I used to wear the popular silk knot cufflinks, but in more recent years, it is always antique cufflinks for me, with chain links. Unless you are buying ones made of precious metal or with gems, most antique cufflinks are not expensive to buy on auction sites such as eBay, and the variety of enamel ones means they are perfect for adding a splash of colour to complement the outfit you are wearing. Great fun, and always stylish.👍

My favorite pair are double-sided oval cufflinks linked by chain. I am curious where to find a cufflinks box to store several pairs in a secure way, for example 15 pairs.
