@@TimDessaint Hey, I'm not mad! Just... curious... Also, I didn't expect you to respond to me lol. Been binging your vids lately and I'm loving them all. Best believe you're gonna help me look fly when lockdown is over XD.
I’m a woman who doesn’t necessarily like dressing masculine but I do enjoy very gender neutral, minimal looks and you fit that style so well it’s crazy. I love your content man keep at it king
@@ainoaguy What is gender netural and minimal is often similar to masculine style. In my opinion, both feminine and masculine should be gender-netural, and for all.
This video is exactly what I needed right now. Ive got a few pieces that ive been incorporating into my outfits over the last year or so but theyre all pretty cheap and for experimentation purposes but now I want to start putting more money into it and this video is sure to help me spend my money in the right places
I want to add to the gold or silver debate, that besides the skin undertone, the hair color plays a major role. Like skin wise I'm more of a cold to neutral undertone but as I have reddish blonde hair and a slightly more reddish beard, gold suits me way better than silver. I basically wear a golden watch paired with the 2012 beaded bracelet (so it's doesn't look so lonely on my wrist), golden necklace and nose ring all the time. Get a lot of compliments for how well it suits me. Not to brag, just to proof my point. @tim: love your vids since I first saw one some time ago. Brought me back to fashion after a long time. Thanks for that and keep it up!
I have quite low pigment in my skin and my undertone's a bit more towards neutral - cold, but at the same time I got a very warm blonde head of hair, likely also cause my mom's a giant redhead. so I just go with colour combos of clothing and jewelry rather than skin cause sheesh I am a bit of everything
As a guy I've only got complements for my earrings, If anyone hasn't liked them they haven't had the guts to say it. I find it quite challenging to find the right pieces though.
Did you get both your ears pierced or just one? I heard its apparently gay for men to get both their ears pierced. I asking coz i wanna get piercings too
One of the jewelry trends i assumed upon first hearing of it that i would hate is men wearing pearl necklaces, and once i started seeing guys wearing it i actually REALLY like it. But i think only certain kinds of guys can really pull it offul man, so i think that's why it works on you. I don't think i could pull it off though.
I'm pretty minimalist, I would say my wardrobe is super basic, either plane black/white shirts or plane color shirts (all blue, green,, red, teal etc.all of which are more on the pastel side but no big logos or anything like that) and just regular blue or black jeans with black vans every time . I have both a normal gold and white-gold necklace, I used to wear them together but hated how they kept getting tangled so I kept the gold one on my neck and wrapped the white one around my wrist like a bracelet and love how it looks so that's how I've kept it. I'm looking to switch it up though, maybe add a ring or a an actual bracelet, really liked the video! thumbs up
ive been craving jewelry for the past few months so seeing this video in my feed is really helpful, I bought a Fitbit watch just to have SOMETHING on my wrist. love your videos, such an inspiration to try out new looks and be more confident in my style. also that DA Vinci ring is so dang cool im going to cop that.
Something to consider, if you've got the cash, is buying custom jewelry from a local goldsmith. Big retailers and brands are great and all, but mass-produced jewelry really undermines the business of selling unique pieces. At the end of the day though, buy whatever you can afford.
I bought steel divers and silver jewelries (so they can match) then I found out that I have a warmer undertone, so gold kinda suits me better. But I like how you said we can wear whatever we want (gold vs silver vs skin undertone). Thought I needed to replace my watch and jewelries with gold toned ones 😂
Love the video and the fact that you are wearing earrings omg I'm so happy finally men have started to wear earrings and even im gonna get my ears pierced after few months LOVE THE EARRINGS ❤️❤️😭
Great to hear a voice for mens jewelry, it really is very underused. Many men could really reveal their unique character with well placed pieces of jewelry. Butplease don't buy from these brands. Yes they are very affordable , but you really don't want to know the background. Atleast for Thomas Sabo I know that most of the budget is invested into marketing, and not into the quality of their product. And almost all these brands produce in sweatshops in India and other south east asian countries. I am a master goldsmith from germany, and I am working in the company which is the pioneer in sustainability and fairness in the gold and gem trade and also in the jewelry making. Through this I got a very deep insight into what goes on behind the scenes and its not pretty. A price not worth paying in my opinion. You are better served with contacting a local jeweller to make you a piece, atleast you know it lasts and is properly made. And some even offer to build in transparently sourced materials. Its better to get one absolutly unique piece that increases your individual style and expression way more then many brand pieces. And its a way better deal if you compare the value you are getting.
Perfect timing for this video! My worked started an all black dress code and I've been trying to look into jewelry so I can still stand out more. Also what lengths do you usually go for with your chains and pendants?
