Hi Ben, good morning from Spain. I am Fran EC5WR and I am also starting to go out into the field with my new IC705. I see with great interest that you use the mx50 amplifier and I have many doubts about it. I want to know what modification must be made to be able to use it with the IC705, because I have seen some videos of colleagues from the US and it is not clear to me, if you can advise me about it, I would be very grateful because soon I am going to do several outings to activate SOTA and references of Spanish awards and I would like to have that extra power in case it was necessary. I am also looking to be able to use a Heil headset (HIH or BM17...) to have my hands free and use vox mode if necessary. Thanks for your videos, I liked and learned a lot the one you did with the 9700 and the rs44 satellite. A cordial greeting and 73 from Spain. Fran EC5WR
