Steffi Graf - Backhand (Olympics 88)

At the 88 Olympics, Steffi changed things up a bit. On rallies and overall, she used her backhand drive more. Don't know what got into her? Perhaps she thought she had nothing to lose after completing the Calendar Grand Slam. Whatever the case, the backhand drive served her well and showed that on return of serve in particular she would have been even more dominating. Olympics 1988.

i remember these shots too! I kept thinking why she didnt do these backhands more often... but perhaps she didnt have to... :)
