- The second wave of Kroot came and went and now I'm finally covering it starting off with this homebrew recipe for the Kroot Trail Shaper. Yet another way to paint your Kroot and this one is really cool. It might actually be my favourite one so far.
Thanks to Games Workshop for sending me this one early to build up and paint for all of you! We've got the Lone Spear and the Hounds yet to come. I'm just being a little more relaxed with the pace of releases. Things may change very soon though....

I've been painting my new Kroot box with all the standard kroot as the 'standard' green, but with the shapers with different skin colors to make them stand out more, I have all these paints, so my next shaper (probably trail) is almost certainly going to be this scheme.
Love the tutorials you have been doing for the kroot. Given me loads of inspiration for mine. Looking forward to see what you do with the Lone spear!

Hey! You make amazing and easy to follow tutorials and are helping me out alot in learning to paint warhammer! I was wondering if you'll do some chaos Space Marines with then new codex and boxes! All the guides for CSM seem really old and I can use them but I love contrast paints. Any thoughts?
Absolutely love the brown! It's the scheme I'm going for with mine, along with de-saturated greens. Surprised with the Ungor Flesh for the highlights, though. It feels REALLY bright for the washed Gore-Grunta. Did you think about using Knight-Questor at all?
