      I have forgotten what the message was :) To send an email like that go to my home page, click "about" and the find the little message flag, thanks for watching. I think You Tube will be discontinuing the message system in July sometime.

    this must have been the first time you take one of those pumps off,you left too much crap attached,that's why you had to fight it so much,LOL.alos,,you normaly find TDC on number 1,then remove the pump lock pin and plug, and reinsert it to lock the pump time, now you're going to have a fun time turning the pump shaft to get it back in time,

    I sleeve All cranks that look like that, having a leaker once was all it took, i'd rather be safe than sorry over a $20 sleeve.

    Will you give an update on the projects we've seen but not seen finished, like the sandrail and solar heating.

      That's the cover behind injection pump, I've been working ton a f700 for 2 days because I thought it was an oil line leaking, couldn't test it without putting everything y back together, not to mention this engine has an air compressor for the brakes right below the injection pump. Good times

    The pump will now need to be timed up at a diesel shop as it is a floating shaft with no key

    • @themanchannel8761
      @themanchannel8761 5 років тому +2

      Actually, no. Pin the engine, pin the pump and voila! Factory timing. You can pin them while together or apart, it doesn't matter. There is only one way for them to be in time. No trick, no magic, just good design.

      @@themanchannel8761 so as long as the engine is tdc and the pump is tdc it’ll run as factory timing, I’m running 18 1/2 degrees not sure if that’s too much
