Yeah, those divisions are definitely unfortunate. I haven't experienced them tooo much in my time making Halo Videos, but that's mostly due to the nature of these being nostalgic looks back at the series. Rather than argumentative forward takes on the franchise. Though on the current divisions of the Halo community, It's also unfortunate because I believe the divisions are completely arbitrary. For example, the divide between casual and pro that gets pointed out a lot. I believe we all still want the same thing. A good pro scene, AND a good casual scene. Being part of the same videogame makes the relationship between the two mutually beneficial. I'm not really sure why as consumers we accepted that only one should be catered to while the other suffers. If both groups of gamers could find gameplay and balancing design that benefits both aspects of the game and pushed the developer on them, it would be much more effective than a three-way battle between pro, casual and developer.
True. I don't necessarily mean to undermine the communities from other games, as I believe an individual gamer can be part of multiple "gaming communities" at the same time. I just wanted to highlight my feeling that the emotional connection people have specifically to Halo seems to be stronger than most other games. Making for a more positive (Mostly) community.
@@DeadBeat_Dave I don't know man I think halo is a pretty good game with massive potential but my feelings are not that high anymore especially with the newer installations of halo I felt the change from halo 3 to 4 and the change was not that bright to me after 343 came the games felt so changed different it felt like I was talking to a flawed clone. Nonetheless the game is good I started playing like a couple months ago the MasterChief collection and I liked it a good fresh start but 4 was problematic to me.
@@tonivoul1971 4 is certainly problematic, no argument from me on that, but please don't conflate that for *_the people_** whom they've tried to convince* time and again that Halo 4 was supposedly the same story. Honestly I would of agreed back in 2010 that halos community was the best. Nowadays the community is pretty divided 😢

@@DeadBeat_Dave I agree that that topic in particular is one of the few that really is completely arbitrary.
Wrong, DRG exists
This is awesome!
