    I’ve watched this video before, but I had to watch it again today. I had the pleasure of sitting at a table with Effin Bob. Super nice guy

    The most frustrating part of these streams for me is the fact that the people that are talking need to shut the hell up during pivotal hands. There's a lot at stake here and the disrespect is rampant.

    Bobs call with the 10/7 seems like an absolutely insane punt even though he was right that time. But I don’t know the dynamics or the player who was bluffing so there might be more to it

    The title should be young players won’t shut the hell up while other people are trying to play a hand.

    11:32 The guy used the word "squeeze" in the original poker sense. I don't think I've heard that in decades.

    • @sebastianmaccaroni6859
      @sebastianmaccaroni6859 3 місяці тому

      i don’t think i’ve ever heard it used in that context, did he mean like T1000 squeezed him in the middle because T1 leading that big forces the dude in the middle to essentially be “squeezed” by T1 and the player behind him? Leveraging him to consider the choice of not only T1 but also the player behind?

    • @JiveDadson
      @JiveDadson 3 місяці тому

      @sebastianmaccaroni6859 Exactly. A typical example would be in 5-draw, when the third to act drew one card after not raising before the draw. Did he hit a straight or flush? In our hold'em hand, from the perspective of second-to-act, the K❤️ may have improved third-to-act.

      The word 'squeeze' means the same thing whether its preflop or postflop.

    • @kaitlynblount7683
      @kaitlynblount7683 3 місяці тому

      I don't think you understood what they were saying. He's saying squeeze had a different meaning back in the day. Not like today's squeeze where it's raise flat flat flat and now you squeeze with all the dead money in there. The squeeze they're referring to, is when you assume the guy behind you is good, but knowing there's a player behind him and having confidence you got that guy beat. You bet knowing the middle guy can't call with another guy to act after. I've never heard it used this way, but it certainly makes sense. But hey, I guess you're right. This can be done pre/post flop.

  • @Jolly-Green-Steve

    Mariano should of shut up on the river on that last hand. His joke was stupid and made no sense because you say things that make no sense when you are bluffing and trying to strong talk someone into a fold. It was just some "I'm strong!" word garble that is an easy tell. His betting line also made no sense so that helps too.
