I think Turkish is the best, based on aesthetic of the food(Freshness, platting, quality of the food), plus the price is affordable. Emirates just have large quantities of food with higher price.
Many years ago i was a passenger on a Turkush freighter, the Iskenderun. I was steerage class. The only other passenger in steerage was a Dutch kid named Peter van der Wal. The Turkish sailors treated us like royalty and the food was delicious.

Turkish served full dinner on flight Athens -Istanbul (1 hour flight) .With salad got amazing olive oil.
But only with LH get cognac after the meal :)

Amazing. The economy food is always superb in most planes. I often find TURKISH Airline to be the best.( and im no turk ) In this video i Like Qatar, Lufthansa and Turkey ..the rest were pretty much superb too/ Greetings from Sweden.
Once I flew on Qatar and the food was real good and the crew was also friendly, Another one of my fav is TAP Air Portugal, Their wine is over the top and you get real stainless utensils, not plastic. At times Air Canada makes pizza onboard and the smell fills the entire B777, but the staff is rude, so I don't fly AC, unless I have to. Worst food I had was on Condor Transatlantic flight.

I agree with Emirates, they have one of the best food I ever had. I flew from Manila to Hongkong, only about an hour to an hour and one- half fligt, and I were served one of the best airline breakfast I ever had. They had Philippine sausage, which one of my favorites. I will be flying Emirates again because they had good food and service.
They don't have that flight.unless you're talking about emirates in the 90's manila via hongkong to dubai.

This shows that an airline can serve excellent food if they care to, and a nice meal shouldn't cost that much more than the stuff served on some other airlines. The food can either encourage or discourage repeat business.
Excellent meals, all of them, with the exception of Virgin Atlantic, in my opinion.
I enjoyed a great meal with Thai International on a relatively short Hong Kong to Bangkok flight - probably the best sweet i've ever had in economy
Etihad, Turkish, Qatar, Emirates... Looks like a legit list of the best economy meals in the sky... Then British Airways makes an appearance and I was like NOPE!

Cathay Pacific Airways from Hong Kong has very good food in the economy class.
That's what I'm gonna say, along with Singapore Airlines, those probably provided the best flight meals in Asia

The beef and chicken meals on Qatar Airways are excellent. Cathay Pacific's meals are also very good. And you should try Korean Air's bibimbap.

It doesn't really matter, due to the way airline reheat meals any type of stew dish (including curries) are the best bet, especially when it comes to BA and VS, their curries are great, the other choices, not so much.

I loved this video. For 35 years I flew around the world on business, eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, on a regular basis and I loved eating on a plane.Sometimes food was a little weird, often amazing but it was part of the fun in my travel.

Airline food on long haul flights is getting better. And I think it makes for a nicer cabin crew too. They don't like serving slop.
I guess Emirates can't beat Turkish Airlines in economy class meal. Their meals are fresh and delicious.

Where's Gulf Air In This Lift. I Remember The Food There, It Was Biriyani With Soft Chicken And I Remember The Dessert, It Was Chocolate Cake With A Strawberry On The Top, Also For Breakfast They Gave Chicken Sausage With Fresh Salad. Aww, I Will Never Forget The Meal In Gulf Air.

I love Virgin Atlantic their food is very good. however, they need to think about making their portions bigger as they are very small, and often I have still been hungry after the lunch or meal service.
