@@FastFredRuddock It looks like if you cut it down the middle and let the river right side collapse, or maybe broke it into several pieces, you might be able to eliminate the undercut as a significant hazard. Of course then you got jagged rocks, but that's not as serious in my amateur opinion.

That would likely create additional hazards. Rock is out of play unless you go looking for it or trying to sneak.

Intermediate boaters can easily avoid the hazard. The Ocoee is an intermediate river.
