    Depends on your driving record. I'm in California and drive a Toyota Tacoma and pay $85 a month through Mercury Insurance for $250,000 worth of coverage. A lot of you out there are getting ripped off

      Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately Nevada along with Florida and New York appear to be amongst the highest car insurance states.

    Thank our president for $7 eggs. Eggs were.77 under our last president. Low income can qualify for Medicaid , welfare, food stamps and housing aid. They are not left with no safety net.

    I pay $89 a month full coverage, 2024 Traverse in Northern Virginia. Where are you guys buying your eggs, I have not paid more than $3.00 for a dozen of eggs. I guess depends on your location. The closer you are to the ports the cheaper the food (from what I`ve heard).

    I have Geico and I pay $136 per month for my 2018 Toyota Camry. I was literally paying $99 per month. They raise prices cuz of the accidental rates. With Geico, you can let them know you don’t drive your car that much cuz you work from home, send in your mileage and and get your rate down. Also , always shop around for cheaper insurance every 6 month.

    Oh yeah, in California eggs have come down a lot, last I paid the other day was $3.29 a dozen. As for food/meals, portions are much bigger in the States than in Europe. A meal in France is like a snack in Los Angeles

    If you guys ever get homesick for the UK, you can drive south to Lake Havasu Arizona about three Hours Dr. and walk across the London bridge. LOL. By the way, I pay $600 a year for my car insurance and eggs are at two dollars a dozen in Ohio. Are used to go to Vegas 15 years in a row until the corporations got too greedy now I gamble locally.

      Nice! We might have to visit London Bridge lol.
      Thanks for sharing how your car insurance. $2 a dozen for eggs is great. Much cheaper than UK too. We might need to start business of shipping Ohio eggs here.

    I cant believe what you guys p[ay for everything. I live in Missouri and we dont have any of those prices you have in Vegas. Eggs here are $125, car insurance is $52. I have never paid more than $30 for a very nice dinner for 2. What world do you live in???

    • @ANTSEL
      @ANTSEL  7 місяців тому

      Wow $52 for car insurance, how long is that cover for? Monthly or longer?
      Missouri is far cheaper than the UK too, as a very nice meal out (not michelin star standard) is closer $60. And car insurance in the $100s per year.
      Vegas is definitely more expensive than what we were used to in the UK, but that is the world we live in now :)

    It depends on where you are. Food prices are coming down. Like here in South Florida, Boynton Beach , I got 18 count eggs for just $2.70. And it’s also depends on the grocery stores. If you are shopping at Trader Joe’s or Wholes food , those prices might be hire. Also you can go to local grocery stores. I’ve never seen eggs for $10.

    • @ANTSEL
      @ANTSEL  9 місяців тому +1

      when you say "local grocery store" do you mean locally run/ family owned grocery stores? As we do not seems to have that here. We did in the UK. Our local grocery stores are Albertsons, Smiths, Sprouts, Trader Joes etc. I think the cheapest, good quality eggs about $6.49 for a dozen. We recently started buying from Costco which is much cheaper.
      Thanks for sharing your prices, by the way, as we genuinely curious about other areas.

      @@ANTSEL My pleasure. yes, like Walmart and target. Like literally got 18 eggs from Walmart for $2.70. It’s also depends on the brands. I don’t know if a Walmart is close by you guys but don’t sleep on Walmart, they have some great prices. I shop at Walmart for certain things and eggs are one of them. Costco is great to buy goods in bulk for cheap too. That’s a great choice

    Hi Anton and Selina, your neighbor John here, went to Sydney back in 2017, it was a beautiful place, definitely not cheap. We took a domestic flight to port Douglas to go see the reefs. I honestly didn’t notice an abundance of bugs in the city but I went during the winter time. The seafood there is amazing, I still think about the oysters I had when I was there from time to time. We have extended family out there and got more of a locals tour and feel to the area. I’m glad you picked Australia as I feel that you’ll find it more similar to the UK than the US (just from what I hear about people’s living experiences) and want to hear your comparisons between the 3! Safe travels and happy “holidays” 😂
