  • Recipe for Messy Chocolate Chip Cookies with Melted Chocolate Sauce
    Ingredients:
    166 grams unsalted butter, softened
    75 grams white sugar
    125 grams brown sugar
    1 whole egg
    1/4 tablespoon vanilla extract
    220 grams all purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    3/4 teaspoon baking powder
    75 grams chocolate chips
    152 grams heavy cream
    113 grams chocolate, chopped
    Procedure:
    Chocolate Chip Cookies
    1. Mix softened butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
    2. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated. Do not overmix.
    3. Add sifted flour, baking soda and baking powder and mix until the specks of flour disappear. Do not overmix.
    4. Add chocolate chips and mix. You can also add nuts.
    5. Cover with cling/plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
    6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degree celcius for 12-15 minutes.
    7. Cool down cookies.
    Chocolate Sauce
    1. Cook heavy cream on low heat until warm, stirring constantly.
    2. Turn off heat and add chopped chocolate.
    3. Stir constantly until the chocolate melts.

    Thanks for this recipe! Question lang po: does your ganache harden once chilled, to the point na hindi na maseparate yung cookies?

      Hi. It doesn't harden that much. But I prefer to just pour the ganache before eating the cookies para hindi maging soggy yung cookies.

      maybe, if the choco sauce is not ganache, but change it with melted milk chocolate with butter. i think it will not make the cookies soft, because theres no water that can make the cookies moist

      Yes po. Mas maganda nga po sa oven. I made this video for those who don't have an oven. Preheat the oven at 170-180 C and bake for 8-12 minutes. Check nyo lang lang from time to time if baked na sila. Depende po sa oven nyo.

      The cookies can last up to 2 weeks in airtight container. Separate the chocolate para hindi maging soggy yung cookies
